     From an obituary in the "Los Angeles Times": Funeral services will be held Monday for San Francisco attorney Austin Clapp, 62. The former Standford University and Olympic team swimming star died at his Woodside home Wednesday after a long illness. The native of Farmington, N.H., was a 1932 graduate of Stanford and graduated from the Boalt Hall law school in 1936. He was a member of the U.S. Olympic swimming team in 1928 and the Olympic water polo team in 1932. He coached the U.S. water polo team at the 1948 Olympics. Clapp was a member of the law firm of Goldstein, Barceloux, and Goldstein of San Francisco. He leaves his wife Gloria and his sons Dan and James Clapp, all of Woodside, and a brother Stewart Clapp of Los Angeles. Contributions may be sent to the United Olympic Committee, a family spokseman said.3
