     Roy Ball was born circa 1874 at KS.¹ He was the son of Calvin A. Ball and Mary Jane Ralston. Roy Ball married Cora M. Barber. Roy Ball died in 1927 at Doniphan Co., KS. He was buried in 1927 at Iowa Point Cemetery, Iowa Point, Doniphan Co., KS.

     Amos Allen Ball was born on 23 April 1842 at Jamestown, Chautauqua Co., NY. He was the son of Amos James Ball and Fanny Sawins. Amos Allen Ball married Huldah Jane Sloper, daughter of Thomas Sloper and Barbara Pickens Blacke, on 3 September 1863 at Cedar Co., IA.¹ Amos Allen Ball died on 19 April 1898 at Independence, Polk Co., OR, at age 55. He was buried at Hilltop Cemetery, Independence, Polk Co., OR.

     Huldah Jane Sloper was born on 10 March 1842 at OH.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Sloper and Barbara Pickens Blacke. Huldah Jane Sloper married Amos Allen Ball, son of Amos James Ball and Fanny Sawins, on 3 September 1863 at Cedar Co., IA.¹ Huldah Jane Sloper married Samuel C. Bennett. Huldah Jane Sloper died on 3 January 1919 at Salem, Marion Co., OR, at age 76.² She was buried at Hilltop Cemetery, Independence, Polk Co., OR.

     Thomas Sloper was born on 22 June 1810 at ME.¹ He married Barbara Pickens Blacke on 24 August 1834.¹ Thomas Sloper died on 6 May 1857 at age 46.¹

     Barbara Pickens Blacke was born on 18 July 1815 at PA; age at death 76 years and 16 days.¹ She married Thomas Sloper on 24 August 1834.¹ Barbara Pickens Blacke died on 3 August 1891 at OR at age 76.¹ She was buried at Hilltop Cemetery, Independence, Polk Co., OR.
     As of 24 August 1834,her married name was Sloper.

     Alpheus Ball was born on 22 January 1864 at Massillon, Cedar Co., IA.¹ He was the son of Amos James Ball and Margaret Highland. Alpheus Ball died on 18 February 1929 at Sparks, Doniphan Co., KS, at age 65.¹ He was buried on 20 February 1929 at Highland Cemetery, Highland, Doniphan Co., KS.¹

     Ella Laura Ball was born circa 1867 at IA.² She was the daughter of Amos James Ball and Margaret Highland. Ella Laura Ball married Solomon Marion Martin, son of John Henry Martin and Elizabeth Jane Willard, circa 1886.¹ Ella Laura Ball died in 1887 at Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., KS.¹

Alice Ball married Joshua Bell Dutton, son of Andrew Joshua Dutton and Mary Hale Cundiff, on 4 September 1881 at Doniphan Co., KS.² Alice Ball died on 9 December 1942 at age 78.³ She was buried at Iowa Point Cemetery, Iowa Point, Doniphan Co., KS.³

     James William Ball was born on 23 April 1865 at MT.¹ He was the son of Amos Allen Ball and Huldah Jane Sloper. James William Ball married Mary Alberta Beall, daughter of George Beall and Lydia Margaret Crouse, on 8 October 1885. James William Ball died on 27 April 1926 at Portland, Multnomah Co., OR, at age 61.¹ He was buried at Rose City Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah Co., OR.

     Mary Alberta Beall was born on 20 September 1868 at MO. She was the daughter of George Beall and Lydia Margaret Crouse. Mary Alberta Beall married James William Ball, son of Amos Allen Ball and Huldah Jane Sloper, on 8 October 1885. Mary Alberta Beall died on 11 October 1926 at Portland, Multnomah Co., OR, at age 58. She was buried at Rose City Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah Co., OR.

     Winfred Herbert Ball was born on 29 May 1893 at Independence, Polk Co., OR.¹ He was the son of James William Ball and Mary Alberta Beall. Winfred Herbert Ball married Tenny Dorothy Chaney, daughter of Robert Boyd Chaney and Minnie Augusta Sherman, on 4 June 1913 at OR; double wedding ceremony with her brother, Horace Chaney. Winfred Herbert Ball married Dorothy Jean Johnston circa 1953 at WA.¹ Winfred Herbert Ball died on 30 January 1974 at Portland, Multnomah Co., OR, at age 80.¹ He was buried at Rose City Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah Co., OR.¹

Tenny Dorothy Chaney married Winfred Herbert Ball, son of James William Ball and Mary Alberta Beall, on 4 June 1913 at OR; double wedding ceremony with her brother, Horace Chaney. Tenny Dorothy Chaney died on 9 February 1952 at Portland, Multnomah Co., OR, at age 55.¹ She was buried on 12 February 1952 at Rose City Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah Co., OR.¹
