     Elmer Kroll was born on 14 April 1919 at Lorain, Lorain Co., OH.^1,2 He was the son of William C. Kroll and Harriet Buleah Giberson.¹ Elmer Kroll died in March 1983 at age 63; SSDI lists last residence as Lorain, Lorain Co., OH.² He was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, Lorain Co., OH.¹
     From an obituary: Elmer C Kroll, 63, of Lorain, died Tuesday at his home after a long illness. He was born in Lorain and lived there all his life. He was a 1937 graduate of Lorain High School and a graduate of the International Corespondence College. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed in the engineering department of the City of Lorain before retiring in 1981. He was a member of St Peter Catholic Church, Lorain, the Italian American Veterans Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 451 of Lorain and the Lorain County Zipper Club. He is survived by his wife of 34 years. Theresa (nee Curcillo). Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by the VFW Post 451.¹
