     Zedikiah Watson was born on 9 September 1771. He was the son of Jonathon West Watson and Nancy Wimbrough. Zedikiah Watson married Hannah (????) circa 1795. Zedikiah Watson died on 19 September 1845 at Franklin, Clermont Co., OH, at age 74; in 74th year.1 He was buried at Hopewell Cemetery, Franklin, Clermont Co., OH.2
     Zedikiah Watson was also known as Zadock. He Said to have come from Maryland to Kentucky in 1788. circa 1788.3 He Father bequested in will to "son Zadock Watson that went to Kentucky." on 8 November 1800. He Zadock Watson of Clermont County NWTerr. bought 60 acres from Ignatius Ross and his wife Mary for $120, S-1641, the acreage was part of a tract lying between the waters of Bullskin and Bear Creek about two miles from the Ohio. on 14 July 1801 at Clermont Co., OH.
