Ball" as the father, but it is may guess that her brother Frank was the informant, not the father, and that her father had already died earlier in 1894 and that her mother may have died as a result of the childbirth. I do not find further trace of Edith, so she may have died soon after birth, as well. End of comment.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Aurocius Ball and Mary J. McIver.¹
