     Charles Leonard Thayer was born on 6 May 1857 at Watertown, Jefferson Co., NY.^1,2,3 He was the son of Rev. Aaron Aldrich Thayer and Mary Elizabeth Ball.¹ Charles Leonard Thayer married Anna Gunnison, daughter of John B. Gunnison and Eleanor L. Spafford, on 2 June 1881.³ Charles Leonard Thayer died on 19 October 1935 at Lakewood, Cuyahoga Co., OH, at age 78.³
