     Daniel Goodspeed Meacham was born on 10 November 1819 at Orangeville, Wyoming Co., NY.¹ He married Emily Maria Bowen, daughter of Moses Bowen and Elizabeth Hopkins, on 14 November 1839 at Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY.¹ Daniel Goodspeed Meacham died on 2 September 1876 at Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY, at age 56.¹ He was buried on 5 September 1876 at Bowen Cemetery, Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY.¹
     From the "Cattaraugus Republican" - September 7, 1876: A DREADFUL ACCIDENT. A distressing accident in Meacham Hollow, Town of Mansfield, on Saturday last. Parties were threshing with a steam threshing machine. About noon the belt to the separator ran off the pulley. Steam was partially shut off and the workman attempted to run the belt on again. While they were doing this Daniel Meacham, was mowing away straw overhead, started to come down. He stepped down upon the feed board , and in some way slipped, and one limb went into the cylinder. The limb was drawn in as far as the knee and was ground to pomace. The machine was at once stopped , and efforts were made to extricate the unfortunate man , but the cords and tendons of the limb or so caught in the teeth of the cylinder that the latter had to be uncapped and taken apart to release him. This took nearly half an hour , during which time the sufferer was in the greatest agony. Doctors Smith, of Ellicottville and Pool, of Otto were summoned and the limb was amputated. But the shock was too great , and Mr. Meacham died Saturday afternoon about five o'clock. He was buried Tuesday.¹

     Walter Hamilton Bowen was born on 3 August 1876 at Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY.² He was the son of George Hamilton Bowen and Mary Jeanette Reynolds.¹ Walter Hamilton Bowen married Katherina S. Ansell on 29 November 1898.¹

     Leon Meacham was born on 1 June 1904.¹ He was the son of Manley Orson Meacham and Myrtle Rich.¹

     Elmer Charles Meacham was born on 21 August 1896.¹ He married Marabell Greene, daughter of Othniel Greene and Lois Johnson, on 29 November 1923.¹ Elmer Charles Meacham died on 13 April 1958 at age 61.¹

     Emily Maria Bowen was born on 4 March 1825 at Cooperstown, Otsego Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Moses Bowen and Elizabeth Hopkins.¹ Emily Maria Bowen married Daniel Goodspeed Meacham on 14 November 1839 at Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY.¹ Emily Maria Bowen died on 4 December 1897 at Sugartown, Cattaraugus Co., NY, at age 72.¹ She was buried at Bowen Cemetery, Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY.¹
     As of 14 November 1839,her married name was Meacham.¹ From an obituary in the Ellicottville Post - 15 December 1897: IN MEMORY. Mrs. Emily M. Meacham passed from his life, December 4 , 1897, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David Milks in Sugartown, at the age of 72 years and nine months after an illness of about three weeks. She was born near Cooperstown, Otsego County, March 4, 1825 and came to Mansfield, this county, with her parents Moses and Betsey Bowen, when five years of age. She was married to Daniel Meacham, November 14, 1839, and to this union 11 children were born, one son and 10 daughters, of which the son and six daughters survive her. She also leaves one sister and four brothers to mourn their loss. She was a kind and loving mother, a good neighbor, loved by all who knew her, being ever ready to lend a helping hand in sickness and distress. She resided in Mansfield until 12 years ago when she came to Great Valley, where she resided until her death. Funeral services were held in the East Valley school house with a very appropriate sermon by Rev. N. C. Mckoon of Sugartown, and good selections rendered by the Great Valley choir, after which the remains were laid at rest beside those of her husband in the Bowen Cemetery. The bereaved ones wish to thank all friends who so kindly assisted in their affliction.¹

     Bert Meacham was born on 2 March 1904.¹ He married Huldah Greene, daughter of Othniel Greene and Lois Johnson, on 23 February 1925.¹ Bert Meacham died on 29 May 1968 at age 64.¹

     Casper Gogel was born on 27 September 1862.¹ He married Lucy Greene, daughter of Charles Greene and Louisa M. Meacham, on 4 July 1883.¹ Casper Gogel died on 21 October 1945 at age 83.¹ He was buried at Maples Cemetery, Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY.¹

     Martha L. Gogel was born on 2 January 1890.¹ She was the daughter of Casper Gogel and Lucy Greene.¹ Martha L. Gogel died on 15 May 1890.¹

     Leland Gogel was born on 2 January 1893.¹ He was the son of Casper Gogel and Lucy Greene.¹ Leland Gogel died on 20 March 1893.¹

     Robert Amenzo Gogel was born on 26 May 1911.¹ He was the son of Amenzo Charles Gogel and Anna Moore.¹

     Gerad Bird was born circa 1890.¹ He was the son of John Henry Bird and Harriet Louisa Bowen.¹

     Peter Williams was born circa 1844.¹ He married Alice Josephine Meacham, daughter of Daniel Goodspeed Meacham and Emily Maria Bowen, on 6 May 1901.¹ Peter Williams died on 7 January 1922.¹

     Anna Moore was born circa 1890.¹ She married Amenzo Charles Gogel, son of Casper Gogel and Lucy Greene, on 30 June 1909 at Humphrey, Cattaraugus Co., NY.¹
     As of 30 June 1909,her married name was Gogel.¹

     Marion Hay married Charles Fox, son of George Arnold Fox and Emily Ann Bowen, in 1917.¹
