     Lyman Thompson Curtis was born on 16 December 1843 at Mundy, Genesee Co., MI.¹ He was the son of Joseph A. Curtis and Martha A. Thompson.² Lyman Thompson Curtis married Florence Bigelow, daughter of Alva Bigelow, on 20 September 1864 at Flint, Genesee Co., MI.¹ Lyman Thompson Curtis married J. Celina George, daughter of Eugene George and Angeline (????), on 30 September 1883 at Flint, Genesee Co., MI.¹ Lyman Thompson Curtis died on 1 March 1916 at age 72.¹ He was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Whigville, Grand Blanc, Genesee Co., MI.¹
     Lyman T. Curtis was born in Mundy township, December 16, 1843, and here he had his early training and education in the common schools. He has followed farming chiefly although he has a taste and ability in the line of mechanics and has patented two machines for making fences, one for slat fences and one for wire fences. He manufactured these machines in Flint for some two years but besides that has devoted himself to agriculture giving special attention too raising fruit trees and carrying on a nursery. One hundred and sixty acres of land are comprised in his farm and upon it he has excellent improvements. About thirty acres are planted to fruit.²

     Sometime after August 1859 Abel S. Donelson and Mercy Webster adopted a daughter that thereafter went by the name of Mattie B. Donelson (married Samuel Moffett.)¹

     Park Shattuck Donelson was born on 17 April 1825 at Colrain, Franklin Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Ira Donelson and Mary Shattuck.¹ Park Shattuck Donelson married Katherine Dexter in 1851.¹ Park Shattuck Donelson died on 6 May 1882 at Dexter, Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 57.²
     Park S. Donelson began working in a drug store at the age of 14 years and continued two years. He then attended Albion College, and after graduation entered the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He subsequently took a course of study in Falley Seminary in New York, after which he served as president of Albion College for a time, and was then president of Delaware College in Ohio for 18 years. He was pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Toledo, Ohio, for a few years, and became presiding elder of Northern Ohio. He was twice sent to the General Conference of the United States, and to the Ecumenical Conference of the World held in Europe.²

     Mary A. Donelson was born on 4 July 1830 at Waterford, Oakland Co., MI.¹ She was the daughter of Ira Donelson and Mary Shattuck.¹ Mary A. Donelson married Gilbert Marcus Shattuck, son of Alfred Shattuck and Sarah Van Vechten Collyer, on 22 February 1855 at Pontiac, Oakland Co., MI.¹ Mary A. Donelson died on 31 July 1913 at Pontiac, Oakland Co., MI, at age 83.¹
     As of 22 February 1855,her married name was Shattuck.

     Arza Brown Donelson was born on 2 October 1832 at Waterford, Oakland Co., MI.² He was the son of Ira Donelson and Mary Shattuck.¹ Arza Brown Donelson married Susan Voorheis, daughter of Isaac Voorheis, on 11 December 1855 at Waterford, Oakland Co., MI.¹ Arza Brown Donelson died on 7 June 1910 at age 77.¹
     Arza B. Donelson, one of the most extensive stock raisers in Michigan, had a fine farm of 214 acres in sections 25 and 26, Waterford township, Oakland County. He began raising a high grade of stock when 15 years old, and has continued to the present day (1903), being the oldest breeder of horses in the State. He was born in section 26, Waterford township, on the farm which he now owns. He has bred Hambletonians principally, consisting of Wilkes and Electioneer. Previously he had bred Volunteer and American Star horses. He has owned as high as 500 sheep at a time, and also many head of cattle. He was president of the Pioneer Society of Oakland County, also president of the Oakland County Agricultural Society.³
