     Sara Lovina Donelson is the daughter of Harold Morris Donelson and Velma Pauline Kilbury.¹

     Barbara Lou Donelson is the daughter of Harold Morris Donelson and Velma Pauline Kilbury.¹

     Roberta Louise Donelson was born on 7 October 1929 at Sturgis, St. Joseph Co., MI.¹ She was the daughter of Harold Morris Donelson and Velma Pauline Kilbury.¹ Roberta Louise Donelson married Henry Ellsworth Belote on 11 October 1947 at Angola, Steuben Co., IN.¹ Roberta Louise Donelson died on 11 January 2004 at Hudson, Lenawee Co., MI, at age 74.¹ She was buried on 14 January 2004 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hudson, Lenawee Co., MI.¹
     As of 11 October 1947,her married name was Belote. As of 7 February 1998,her married name was Conklin. From an obituary from the Eagle Funeral Home, Hudson: Roberta spent over 35 years working for GTE before retiring in 1990. She was a volunteer in Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Junior Achievement and Camp Fire Girls. She graduated from Sturgis High School in 1947 and was a member of Clayton Bible Church. More importantly, she was a mom, confidant, best friend, Den Mother, Pack Mother and teacher to her children, Linda 'Linn' Belote of Hudson, SFC (ret.), Don (Debbie) Belote of Augusta, Georgia, Mark (Patti) Belote of Adrian, Ann (William) Weir of Ossineke, Michigan and 'daughter' Martha Wotring. She was also grandmother, playmate, best friend, and teacher to her grandchildren, Trisha Bodine, Adam Sackett, S/Sgt. James Sackett, Allen 'Rusty' Belote, Nathan Belote, Caleb Belote, Angie Cales, Tiffany Rae Belote, Mark Belote Jr., Nathan Weir, Jessie Weir and Dylan Weir and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-children Beth (Lee) Clinton of Oregon, Delmar (Eileen) Cadoo of Hudson, Bert (Dave) Sharpe of Adrian, Paul (Angie) Conklin of Hudson, Mark Conklin of Adrian, Earl (Lilly) Conklin of Virginia, Sarah (Richard) Veltema of Grand Rapids and their children and grandchildren.¹

     Charles Wesley Short was born on 28 July 1870.¹ He married Lena Hortense Donelson, daughter of Horace Loren Donelson and Frances Mary Green, on 24 March 1890 at Flint, Genesee Co., MI.¹ Charles Wesley Short died in October 1930 at age 60; automobile accident.¹

     Viviane Mae Short was born on 30 April 1891.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Wesley Short and Lena Hortense Donelson.¹ Viviane Mae Short married H. Murray Northrup on 28 September 1917.¹
     As of 28 September 1917,her married name was Northrup.

     Ursula Beulah Short was born on 11 June 1893.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Wesley Short and Lena Hortense Donelson.¹ Ursula Beulah Short married Bruce Belknap Bender on 22 May 1916 at Detroit, Wayne Co., MI.¹ Ursula Beulah Short died on 7 January 1990 at age 96.¹
