     Ira Ball was born circa 1825 at CT.¹ He was the son of Amzi Ball and Hannah Royce.¹ Ira Ball married Jemima C. Atwater on 19 November 1856 at New Haven, New Haven Co., CT.¹ Ira Ball died on 24 July 1868 at Bristol, Hartford Co., CT.¹
     Comment by DGB: It was Dr. Druse's guess that Ira was the son of Amzi, likely based on their both living in Bristol CT at the same time and that Ira was born before the known marriage of Amzi's brother Charles. That said, there was an early son of Charles that shows on the 1840 that may have been Ira and not Henry, as currently listed in this Project. End of comment.

     Sally Hitchcock was born on 11 July 1790 at Wilbraham, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Aaron Hitchcock and Desire Maxwell. Sally Hitchcock married David Bliss on 1 June 1820; bans published.

     Ithamar Hitchcock was born on 10 May 1781 at Wilbraham, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Aaron Hitchcock and Desire Maxwell. Ithamar Hitchcock married Polly Allen on 5 November 1807.¹ Ithamar Hitchcock married Lois Allen on 21 April 1824.¹ Ithamar Hitchcock died on 20 December 1842 at age 61.¹
