     From an obituary in the "Corning Leader": Wallace A. Scranton, 64, of 311 Village Square Apartments, Painted Post, died at 2pm today in Corning Hospital. He had been a patient for five days. Born in Wellsboro, PA Feb. 25, 1911, he was the son of Samuel and Grace Sherman Scranton. He married Mary L. Wilcox Nov 27, 1954 in Wellsboro, Pa. He served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II. A resident of the area for 20m years, he was a retired machine operator at the Big Flats Plant of Corning Glass Works. He retired in 1971 due to ill health with 31 years of service. He was a member of the Erwin Valley Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, VFW No. 5992 and the Corning Glass Works Production club. Surviving are his wife, Mary; one son, Dennis of Corning; one stepson, Charles Wilcox of Painted Post; six stepdaughters, Mrs. Micheal (Pauline) Kapral of Painted Post, Mrs. Raymond (Geraldine) Schroeder of Kentucky, Mrs. Anthony (June) Tanelli of Schenectady, Mrs. Stanley (Martha) Morse of Coopers Plains, Mrs. Ronald (Patricia) Zone of Corning; a brother, Milford Scranton of Beaver Dams; 21 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The Carpenter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11am in the funeral home with the Reverend Jesse Peace, pastor of the Missionary Alliance Church officiating. Burial will be in the Woodhull Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the Christian Missionary Alliance Church's Vietnamese refugee fund.¹

     Pauline Elva Badman was born on 24 September 1918 at Tioga Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Oliver James Badman and Edna Mae Wilson.¹ Pauline Elva Badman married Wallace A. Scranton, son of Samuel J. Scranton and Grace May Sherman, in October 1938.¹ Pauline Elva Badman married Onelo Joseph Bianco on 25 July 1955 at MD.¹ Pauline Elva Badman died on 17 May 1988 at Corning, Steuben Co., NY, at age 69.¹ She was buried at St. Mary's Cemetery, Corning, Steuben Co., NY.¹

     Flora Effie Borden was born on 25 April 1891 at PA.¹ She was the daughter of Julian Glendore Borden and Addie Larenda Wilson.¹ Flora Effie Borden married Earl Lovell Fuller, son of Melvin Fuller and Lydia Short.¹ Flora Effie Borden died on 31 July 1955 at age 64.¹
     Her married name was Fuller.
