Ball and Hannah Mariah Field.¹ Lewis Lucius Ball married Sabine Estella Bigsby, daughter of William Bigsby and Isabella McClellan, on 13 September 1892 at Banner Co., NE.² Lewis Lucius Ball died on 17 June 1931 at Ionia, Ionia Co., MI, at age 77.² He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Alma, Gratiot Co., MI.³

     Mary Neal was born circa 3 January 1803 at Unity, Sullivan Co., NH; age at death 76y 9m 2d.^1,2 She was the daughter of Benjamin Neal and Lucy Perkins.^2,3 Mary Neal married David Luther Polley, son of Peter Jacob Polley and Desire Flint, on 14 April 1824 at Acworth, Sullivan Co., NH.³ Mary Neal married James Ball after 1842.¹ Mary Neal died on 5 October 1879 at Westford, Middlesex Co., MA.²
     As of 14 April 1824,her married name was Polley.³ As of after 1842,her married name was Ball.

     Charlotte Polley was born circa 1839 at NH.¹ She was the daughter of David Luther Polley and Mary Neal.¹

     Comment by DGB: The father of William H. Polley is assumed to be David Luther Polley based upon his surname on the 1850 census. While David Luther Polley was shown as living for the June 1840 census, he would have had to have lived until mid-October 1840 to have been the father of William. End of comment.
