     Comment by DGB: In Joseph Ball's will is referred to as Widow Jones. There is a tombstone next to Joseph's for "Widow Abigail Jones" with a death date of 14 March 1801 and "In the 49 Year of her age", which would imply she was born about 1757, which would have had her father barely 19 and have been before Joseph's marriage to Anna Harrison. Whether Abigail was first the wife of James Wharry, as sometimes shown, is not known. End of comment. As of 25 December 1790,her married name was Wharry. Her married name was Jones.

     Daniel Ball was born on 31 December 1773.¹ He was the son of Joseph Ball and Anna Harrison.¹ Daniel Ball married Mehetable C. Baldwin on 19 October 1803.¹ Daniel Ball died in 1834.¹

     James W. Wharry was born on 6 March 1762.¹ He married Abigail Ball, daughter of Joseph Ball, on 25 December 1790.¹ James W. Wharry died on 17 February 1803 at age 40.¹

     Mehetable C. Baldwin married Daniel Ball, son of Joseph Ball and Anna Harrison, on 19 October 1803.¹
