     He served in Navy during WWI. 1922-30 he was director of Dodge and Seymour, Shanghai, China. He joined Goodyear Tire and Rubber in 1930. He was with U. S. Rubber 1943-49. He returned to Goodyear until his retirement in 1963.¹

     Mary Nancy Ellis is the daughter of Samuel Bowden Ellis and Eleanor Johnson.¹
