While Elizabeth was at work her mother, Katherine Wright who had married Arthur Corby as her 2nd husband, gave Margaret to Caroline and William Luce to raise. Elizabeth remarried a McNeal but would not take Margaret back but kept Margaret's sister Katherine. Margaret always went by Margaret Luce but had never been legally adopted. However, when she graduated from High School Elizabeth went to school and insisted that she graduate under the name Baker. Margaret married George Lipput.¹

     Wayne M. Luce was born on 6 January 1906.¹ He was the son of William F. Luce and Caroline May Corby.¹ Wayne M. Luce died on 22 November 1958 at age 52.¹

     Clarence L. Luce was born on 15 April 1907 at Eaton, Wyoming Co., PA.¹ He was the son of William F. Luce and Caroline May Corby.¹ Clarence L. Luce died on 16 December 1966 at age 59.¹

     Permelia Bedford was born on 28 September 1815 at Morris, Morris Co., NJ.¹ She was the daughter of Timothy Bedford and Mathilda Beach.¹ Permelia Bedford married Amasa David Corby, son of John Corby and Jane Perry, on 23 June 1842 at Caldwell, Essex Co., NJ.¹ Permelia Bedford died on 2 January 1904 at Eaton, Wyoming Co., PA, at age 88.¹
     As of 23 June 1842,her married name was Corby.

     Richard Perry Corby was born on 18 April 1843 at Caldwell, Essex Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of Amasa David Corby and Permelia Bedford.¹ Richard Perry Corby died on 15 February 1865 at Andersonville Prison, Sumter Co., GA, at age 21; after about five months of confinement.¹

     Henry Clay Corby was born on 25 December 1844 at Eaton, Wyoming Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Amasa David Corby and Permelia Bedford.¹ Henry Clay Corby married Adelaide Z. Clark on 17 July 1865 at Monroe, Wyoming Co., PA.¹ Henry Clay Corby died on 26 January 1918 at Falls, Wyoming Co., PA, at age 73.¹ He was buried at Eatonville Cemetery, Wyoming Co., PA.¹
