     Comment by DGB: John O. was born two years before the marriage of Smith Meeker and Abigail Oliver. Given that Smith Meeker was about age 29 when John O. was born, it is possible that John O. was a son born of an earlier wife of Smith Meeker. End of comment.

Sherman on 26 November 1857 at Cuyahoga Co., OH; "Norton C."⁴ Norton Caleb Meeker married Mary Electa Thomas, daughter of Levi Thomas and Elizabeth Stratton, circa 1872.^5,6 Norton Caleb Meeker died in 1898 at East Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.⁵ He was buried at East Cleveland Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.⁵

     Byron Meeker was born circa 1834 at OH.² He was the son of Smith Meeker and Abigail Oliver.¹ Byron Meeker and Sarah Demiline obtained a marriage license on 21 July 1868 at Cuyahoga Co., OH.³ Byron Meeker died on 17 December 1888 at Collinwood, Cuyahoga Co., OH.^4,5 He was buried at Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.⁴
