Allen and Amanda Ervin, on 5 March 1866 at Coles Co., IL.^5,6 John Ball died on 30 August 1916 at Oakland, Coles Co., IL, at age 74.³ He was buried at Rosedale Cemetery, Oakland, Coles Co., IL.⁴

     David Ball was born circa 1846 at Spencerville, DeKalb Co., IN; Comment by DGB: Note that his Civil War service records show a birth year of 1843, but that was likely an inflation of age at enlistment. The 1850 census record is likely more accurate. End of comment.^1,2 He was the son of Jared Andrew Ball and Malinda Slater.¹ David Ball died on 31 December 1862 at Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., TN; killed in battle in the Civil War as a member of Company "G" of the 79th Illinois Infantry.² He was buried at Stones River National Cemetery, Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., TN.²

     Seth Blair was born on 15 December 1822 at Akron, Summit Co., OH.^2,3,4 He was the son of James Blair and Nancy Cook.⁴ Seth Blair married Eliza Slater circa 1845.³ Seth Blair married Laura Ball, daughter of Jared Andrew Ball and Malinda Slater, on 29 March 1860 at Williams Co., OH.¹ Seth Blair died on 25 July 1900 at Edgerton, Williams Co., OH, at age 77.^5,4 He was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Williams Co., OH.⁵

Street and Harriet Archer.⁵ Aaron Street married Florilla Ball, daughter of Jared Andrew Ball and Malinda Slater, on 26 April 1857 at Williams Co., OH.¹ Aaron Street died on 7 September 1906 at Hart, Wright Co., MO, at age 70.^6,7 He was buried at Spillman Cemetery, Wright Co., MO.⁸
