Stratton married Amos Ball, son of Aaron Ball and Rachel Cheever, on 2 December 1819 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA; "Betsy."² Elizabeth S. Stratton died on 29 April 1875 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA; "Betsey S."¹
     As of 2 December 1819,her married name was Ball.

     Charles Ball was born circa 16 May 1820 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA; age at death 31y 3m 22d.¹ He was the son of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton. Charles Ball died on 7 September 1851 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA; epileptic fit.¹

     Martha C. Ball was born on 31 July 1821. She was the daughter of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton. Martha C. Ball married Aaron Mossman, son of John Mossman and Copiah Ward, on 25 November 1847 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA; "Morsman."¹ Martha C. Ball died on 10 May 1898 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA, at age 76.
     As of 25 November 1847,her married name was Mossman.²

     Aaron Mossman was born on 21 November 1811 at Ashburnham, Worcester Co., MA.¹ He was the son of John Mossman and Copiah Ward. Aaron Mossman married Martha C. Ball, daughter of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton, on 25 November 1847 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA; "Morsman."² Aaron Mossman died on 28 November 1878 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA, at age 67.¹
     Aaron Mossman was also known as Marsman.

     Calvin Ball was born on 24 October 1822. He was the son of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton. Calvin Ball died on 15 May 1824 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA, at age 1.¹

     William Franklin Ball was born circa 9 February 1824 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA; age at death 81y 4m 20d.¹ He was the son of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton. William Franklin Ball married Lucy R. Holden, daughter of Benjamin Holden and Elmira (????), on 2 January 1855 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.² William Franklin Ball died on 29 June 1905 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.¹ He was buried on 1 July 1905 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.¹

     Emeline Ball was born on 14 November 1825. She was the daughter of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton. Emeline Ball died on 29 September 1828 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA, at age 2.¹

     Frederick A. Ball was born on 1 April 1828 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton. Frederick A. Ball married Lucretia S. Severance, daughter of Selah Severance and Hannah Putnam, on 22 March 1853. Frederick A. Ball died on 17 April 1906 at Raynham, Bristol Co., MA, at age 78.¹
     In December 1848 he went to Shelburne Falls, MA and was in the employ of Lamson & Goodnow & Co., where he remained in various capacities for 54 years. One year as clerk in their store, then in their office as bookkeeper.

In 1855 Lamson & Goodnow Mfg. Co. was incorporated and he was elected clerk of the corporation. In Februrary 1866 he was made treasurer of the company and held that office until February 1885, being a director as well as corporation clerk until he resigned in February 1904.

He was elected president of the Shelburne Falls Savings Bank October 1866 and held that office until he resigned in October 1902.

He held office in the Arms Cemetery Association from its organization in 1856, until its annual meeting in April, 1903. When the grounds became too limited he, with A.K. Hawks, formed a committee to purchase additional land, lay out and prepare the same for the Soldiers' Monument, completed April 1, 1874. Held office of Justice of the Peace 21 years to November 19, 1903.²

     Martin Ball was born on 7 December 1829. He was the son of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton. Martin Ball died on 12 June 1831 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA, at age 1.¹

     Frances L. Ball was born on 3 October 1832 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA. She was the daughter of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton. Frances L. Ball married Peter Kidder, son of Peter Kidder and Sophia (????), on 30 November 1854 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.¹ Frances L. Ball died on 27 March 1901 at Oxford, Worcester Co., MA, at age 68.
     As of 30 November 1854,her married name was Kidder.

     Peter Kidder was born circa 1830 at Oxford, Worcester Co., MA. He was the son of Peter Kidder and Sophia (????)¹ Peter Kidder married Frances L. Ball, daughter of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton, on 30 November 1854 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.¹

     Mary E. Ball was born on 15 September 1834 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.^1,2 She was the daughter of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton. Mary E. Ball married Mason M. Luce, son of Gamaliel Luce and Phylura Flagg, in January 1852 at Worcester Co., MA; it would appear that this couple repeated their marriage twice more: once on 29 July 1888 in Oakham MA and again 26 June 1897 in West Boylston MA. It is not known whether these were accompanied by intervening divorces or whether there was some administrative need for repeating the ceremony.³ Mary E. Ball died circa 1912 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.² She was buried at New Hope Cemetery, Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.⁴
     As of January 1852,her married name was Luce.

     Mason M. Luce was born on 18 October 1829 at Petersham, Worcester Co., MA.^1,2 He was the son of Gamaliel Luce and Phylura Flagg.³ Mason M. Luce married Mary E. Ball, daughter of Amos Ball and Elizabeth S. Stratton, in January 1852 at Worcester Co., MA; it would appear that this couple repeated their marriage twice more: once on 29 July 1888 in Oakham MA and again 26 June 1897 in West Boylston MA. Ball married Louisa Melissa Bryant, daughter of John Bryant and Melissa Pierce, on 25 April 1861 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.¹ Martin V. Ball died on 25 March 1906 at Gardner, Worcester Co., MA, at age 68.² He was buried on 28 March 1906 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.²

     Levi Greenwood Temple was born on 19 January 1818 at Hubbardston, Worcester Co., MA.^2,1 He was the son of Thomas Temple and Nancy Greenwood.¹ Levi Greenwood Temple married Persis Fales Ball, daughter of Richard C. Ball and Abigail Fales, on 25 December 1845 at Hubbardston, Worcester Co., MA.³ Levi Greenwood Temple and Persis Fales Ball posted marriage intentions on 6 December 1845 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.⁴ Levi Greenwood Temple died on 20 November 1892 at age 74.

     Josiah P. Bailey was born circa 1826 at Thompson, Windham Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Resolved Bailey.² Josiah P. Bailey married Abigail Ball, daughter of Richard C. Ball and Abigail Fales, on 17 August 1848 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA.² Josiah P. Bailey and Abigail Ball posted marriage intentions on 11 May 1848 at Thompson, Windham Co., CT.³
     Josiah P. Bailey was also known as Joseph.

     Asahel Battey was born in June 1825 at RI. He married Adeline Ball, daughter of Richard C. Ball and Abigail Fales, on 3 November 1850 at Thompson, Windham Co., CT.¹
