     Hanna P. Wellman was also known as Anna Philena. As of 5 November 1863,her married name was Ball.

     Arthur Welburn Ball was born on 7 July 1865 at South Deerfield, Franklin Co., MA; age at death 1y 1m.^1,2 He was the son of Alonzo Field Ball and Hanna P. Wellman.¹ Arthur Welburn Ball died on 8 August 1866 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 1.²

     Fred Arthur Ball was born on 10 May 1870.¹ He was the son of Alonzo Field Ball and Hanna P. Wellman.¹ Fred Arthur Ball died on 29 January 1891 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 20.²

     Herbert Alonzo Ball was born on 20 February 1872 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.² He was the son of Alonzo Field Ball and Hanna P. Wellman.¹ Herbert Alonzo Ball married Mary A. Jennings on 15 September 1890.¹ Herbert Alonzo Ball died on 29 January 1891 at age 18.¹

     Comment by DGB: The Warren book has her death as 29 March 1899 at Sutton, Worcester Co., MA, but there are no "Ball" deaths listed in the Sutton records after 1898. Since Mary shows up still living for the June 1900 census, it is suspected that her death date was an error in the Warren book. End of comment.

     Sarah M. Browning was born circa 1830 at Rutland, Worcester Co., MA.² She was the daughter of David D. Browning and Lucy (????)² Sarah M. Browning married Charles C. Ball, son of Isaac Ball and Almira Fales, on 23 December 1852 at Rutland, Worcester Co., MA.² Sarah M. Browning died on 31 October 1879.¹
     As of 23 December 1852,her married name was Ball.
