Hood, daughter of George B. Hood, on 24 October 1844 at Clarendon, Orleans Co., NY.¹ Charles Chadwick Ball married Eunice M. Butler, daughter of Joseph L. Butler and Laura Ann (????), on 25 December 1861.¹ Charles Chadwick Ball married Harriet L. Wright on 12 February 1892 at Caro, Tuscola Co., MI.² Charles Chadwick Ball died on 25 April 1897 at Tuscola Co., MI, at age 76.¹

     Julia A. Hood was born on 30 September 1824 at Orleans Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of George B. Hood.¹ Julia A. Hood married Charles Chadwick Ball, son of Nathan Ball and Fear Chadwick, on 24 October 1844 at Clarendon, Orleans Co., NY.¹ Julia A. Hood died on 28 June 1860 at Ogden, Monroe Co., NY, at age 35; Nixon letter indicated an article appeared in the Brockport paper. Todate no article has been found, however the Seymour Library did sendinformation that sound like a newspaper account.¹
     As of 24 October 1844,her married name was Ball.¹

     Edna A. Ball was born on 10 August 1856 at Churchville, Monroe Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Chadwick Ball and Julia A. Hood.¹ Edna A. Ball married Edwin O. Ainsworth on 3 November 1875 at Flint, Genesee Co., MI.¹ Edna A. Ball died on 6 September 1938 at Unionville, Tuscola Co., MI, at age 82.¹ She was buried on 9 September 1938 at Demorest Cemetery, Akron, Tuscola Co., MI.¹
     As of 3 November 1875,her married name was Ainsworth.¹ Sometime after 1895 Edwin O. Ainsworth and Edna A. Ball adopted a son that thereafter went by the name of Leo S. Ainsworth (married Anna M. Dean.)¹
