     Emma Shears was born on 21 April 1860 at Pickaway Co., OH.¹ She married John Harrison Wilbur on 30 May 1881 at Gaylord, Otsego Co., MI.¹ Emma Shears died on 10 November 1936 at Albion, Calhoun Co., MI, at age 76.¹

W. Hunt and Hattie (????), on 29 May 1925 at Okemos, Ingham Co., MI.³ Hazel Elizabeth Ball died on 26 October 1989 at age 87; SSDI lists last residence as Dimondale, Eaton Co., MI.² She was buried at Rose Cemetery, Bath, Clinton Co., MI.¹
     As of 29 May 1925,her married name was Hunt.

     Ira Monroe Ball was born on 4 December 1905 at MI; Comment by DGB: census data suggests the birth year was 1904. End of comment.¹ He was the son of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur.¹ Ira Monroe Ball married Marion Cooley, daughter of Harry Edwin Cooley and Inez Irene Short, on 30 April 1938.² Ira Monroe Ball died on 25 March 1955 at Homer, Calhoun Co., MI, at age 49; in a traffic accident.^1,3 He was buried at Rosehill Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., MI.³
     Ira Monroe Ball also went by the name of Ike.⁴

     Carl Parson Ball was born on 17 March 1907 at MI.² He was the son of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur.³ Carl Parson Ball married Elsie Uphold on 14 April 1929.³ Carl Parson Ball died on 5 December 1989 at Alma, Gratiot Co., MI, at age 82.^2,4

     Arthur L. Ball was born on 18 April 1909 at WI.^2,3 He was the son of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur.¹ Arthur L. Ball married Violet Lucille Collins on 3 September 1949.⁴ Arthur L. Ball died on 20 February 1988 at age 78; SSDI lists last residence as Holladay, Benton Co., TN.²

     Martin Allen Ball was born on 27 December 1910 at WI.^2,3 He was the son of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur.¹ Martin Allen Ball married Erma Elizabeth Kidder, daughter of Perry Legrande Kidder and Mary Elizabeth Winchcomb, on 22 November 1936.⁴ Martin Allen Ball died on 9 May 1973 at age 62; SSDI lists last residence as Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., MI.^2,4

     Cephas Harrison Ball was born on 21 September 1912 at Gaylord, Otsego Co., MI.^2,3 He was the son of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur.¹ Cephas Harrison Ball married Frances E. Young, daughter of Albert Young and Laura Kleist, on 30 November 1935 at Albion, Calhoun Co., MI.³ Cephas Harrison Ball died on 2 February 2003 at Albion, Calhoun Co., MI, at age 90.^3,4 He was buried at Rice Creek Cemetery, Marshall, Calhoun Co., MI.⁵

     Ralph Earl Ball was born on 1 June 1914 at MI.¹ He was the son of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur.¹ Ralph Earl Ball died on 5 April 1984 at age 69; SSDI lists last residence as Mission, Hidalgo Co., TX.^2,3

     Gerald Maurice Ball was born on 2 February 1916 at MI.¹ He was the son of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur.¹ Gerald Maurice Ball married Edna Logan on 15 August 1937.² Gerald Maurice Ball and Edna Logan were divorced.³ Gerald Maurice Ball married Helen (????) on 9 July 1966.² Gerald Maurice Ball died on 3 February 2007 at age 91; SSDI lists last residence as Orlando, Orange Co., FL.⁴
     Comment by DGB: Some have identified this Gerald Ball as having married a Kathleen Culver and with her had two children, Dwight and Mary Lou. That family is found on the 1930 census for Brookfield, Eaton Co., MI and that Dwight Ball was born in MI about 1901 and was the son of Elmer and Jane Ball of Brookfield MI. End of comment.

     Francis Lafayette Ball was born on 28 June 1917 at MI.¹ He was the son of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur.¹ Francis Lafayette Ball died on 4 February 1929 at Eaton Co., MI, at age 11.² He was buried at Rosehill Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., MI.³

     David Gardner Ball was born on 15 February 1920 at Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., MI.¹ He was the son of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur.¹ David Gardner Ball died on 7 December 1965 at Charlotte, Eaton Co., MI, at age 45.² He was buried at Rosehill Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., MI.²
     He was in the Navy during World War II.¹ He David Gardner Ball adopted Robert Alan Whedon (born 9 Apr 1946), who changed his surname to Ball.³

     Clara Ball is the daughter of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur.¹

     Kenneth Harold Hunt is the son of Harold Fletcher Hunt and Hazel Elizabeth Ball.¹

     Elsie Uphold was born circa 1907 at MI.² She married (????) Johnson circa 1923.² Elsie Uphold married Carl Parson Ball, son of Daniel Monroe Ball and Clara Alta Wilbur, on 14 April 1929.³ Elsie Uphold died on 11 September 2000 at Alma, Gratiot Co., MI.⁴
     Elsie Uphold was also known as Elsie Spitzley.³ As of circa 1923,her married name was Johnson.² As of 14 April 1929,her married name was Ball.
