Flamen Ball married Evelina Candler, daughter of Captain Samuel Marsden Candler and Eleanor Devereux, on 21 April 1829.¹ Hon. Flamen Ball married Elizabeth H. Parmelee on 29 January 1873 at Hamilton Co., OH.⁴ Hon. Flamen Ball died on 20 January 1885 at Glendale, Clermont Co., OH, at age 76.² He was buried at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH.²

     As of 21 May 1862,her married name was Deland.

     Charles William Deland was born on 21 March 1821 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of Charles M. Deland and Hester B. (????)³ Charles William Deland married Helen Cecilia Ball, daughter of Hon. Flamen Ball and Evelina Candler, on 21 May 1862.¹ Charles William Deland died on 3 January 1871 at Clifton, Hamilton Co., OH, at age 49.³

     Susan Louisa Bowler Ball was born on 23 June 1847 at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Hon. Flamen Ball and Evelina Candler.³ Susan Louisa Bowler Ball married John Sharp Woods, son of William W. Woods and Elizabeth M. Sharp, circa 1870.³ Susan Louisa Bowler Ball died on 6 October 1934 at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH, at age 87.² She was buried at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH.²

Eliphalet Ball and Elizabeth Van Flamen, on 16 March 1775.¹ General James Gordon died on 17 January 1810 at Ballston, Saratoga Co., NY, at age 70.¹ He was buried at Briggs Cemetery, Ballston Spa, Saratoga Co., NY.³

     Melinda Gordon was born circa 1777 at Dutchess Co., NY.² She was the daughter of General James Gordon and Mary Ball.¹ Melinda Gordon married William Beekman VerPlanck, son of Philip VerPlanck and Effie Beekman, on 12 August 1798 at Fishkill, Dutchess Co., NY.¹ Melinda Gordon married Henry Waller on 6 January 1806 at Fishkill, Dutchess Co., NY.² Melinda Gordon died on 4 September 1857 at Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY.¹
     As of 12 August 1798,her married name was VerPlanck. As of 6 January 1806,her married name was Waller.²

     William Beekman VerPlanck was born on 2 March 1771 at Dutchess Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Philip VerPlanck and Effie Beekman.¹ William Beekman VerPlanck married Melinda Gordon, daughter of General James Gordon and Mary Ball, on 12 August 1798 at Fishkill, Dutchess Co., NY.¹ William Beekman VerPlanck died on 30 December 1804 at Fishkill, Dutchess Co., NY, at age 33.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Hopkins was born on 13 April 1802.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Miles Hopkins and Sarah Elizabeth Rogers.¹ Mary Elizabeth Hopkins married William Gordon VerPlanck, son of William Beekman VerPlanck and Melinda Gordon, on 22 February 1826.¹ Mary Elizabeth Hopkins died on 28 February 1858 at Dubuque, Dubuque Co., IA, at age 55.¹
