Ball died on 26 October 1939 at Lewiston, Androscoggin Co., ME, at age 61.3 He was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor, Penobscot Co., ME.3
     On before 1920 Charles T. Ball and Mabel M. Godsoe adopted a son that thereafter went by the name of Merle Ball.4
