     Glennis Lloyd Hartwell was born on 20 September 1895 at Ayer's Cliff, Stanstead Co., QC, Canada.¹ He was the son of Thomas Hartwell and Ella Viola Parnell.¹ Glennis Lloyd Hartwell married Ethel Stone on 4 July 1917 at North Hatley, QC, Canada.¹ Glennis Lloyd Hartwell died on 21 July 1970 at Bury, QC, Canada, at age 74.¹ He was buried at Ayer's Cliff, Stanstead Co., QC, Canada.¹

     Howard Ernest Hartwell was born on 11 January 1886 at Ayer's Cliff, Stanstead Co., QC, Canada.¹ He was the son of Thomas Hartwell and Ella Viola Parnell.¹ Howard Ernest Hartwell married Mabel Gladys Taylor, daughter of Aylwin Kossuth Taylor and Nellie Augusta Libby, on 6 October 1915 at Ayer's Cliff, Stanstead Co., QC, Canada.¹ Howard Ernest Hartwell died on 10 September 1944 at North Hatley, QC, Canada, at age 58.¹ He was buried at North Hatley Cemetery, North Hatley, QC, Canada.¹
     From an obituary in the "Sherbrooke Daily Record": Ayer's Cliff-- The many friends here were indeed shocked when on Sunday morning they learned that Mr. Howard Hartwell had passed away while at his work in North Hatley where he and his wife have spent the summer preparing to return to their home here on Monday. It will be remembered that their only son Pte. Ernest Hartwell is in service overseas and they received word only a few weeks ago that he had been injured and had lost one eye. To Mrs. Hartwell and Pte. Hartwell the deepest sympathy is expressed and also to his brothers and sisters. The funeral was held at St. George's Church here on Tuesday, with burial in North Hatley cemetery.¹

     Mary Etta Hartwell was born on 14 April 1853 at Hatley, QC, Canada.¹ She was the daughter of Jeremiah Hartwell and Sarah Digby.¹ Mary Etta Hartwell married Wright Worthen, son of True Worthen and Minerva McConnell, on 15 April 1871 at Sherbrooke, QC, Canada.¹ Mary Etta Hartwell died in July 1915 at Manchester, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 62.¹ She was buried at McConnell Cemetery, Ayer's Cliff, Stanstead Co., QC, Canada.¹
