Ball married Verona Catherine Birchmeier, daughter of Michael Birchmeier and Elizabeth Hermann, circa 1914.³ Allan J. Ball died on 23 June 1952 at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 57.⁴ He was buried at Marble Park Cemetery, Milan, Washtenaw Co., MI.¹
     He worked in local foundry during the Depression. He served as Master of the local Grange, a farmer's organization, for many years.
