     Jesse Grant Ball was born on 6 November 1871 at RI.^2,3 He was the son of George Washington Ball and Almedia Hunt.² Jesse Grant Ball married Bessie Gertrude Gardner, daughter of James A. Gardner and Annie S. (????), say 1898.⁴ Jesse Grant Ball married Meriam Alice Greene, daughter of Samuel Greene and Mary Jane Earnshaw, on 14 November 1900 at Providence, Providence Co., RI.¹ Jesse Grant Ball died on 16 August 1928 at Providence, Providence Co., RI, at age 56.⁴ He was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown, Washington Co., RI.⁵
