     John M. Hays was born on 27 June 1844 at IN; twin of Philip.^2,3 He was the son of Joseph Schooly Hays and Margaret Parcel.¹ John M. Hays married Mary Ann Kinder, daughter of Thomas Kinder and Sarah Ann (????).⁴ John M. Hays died on 23 February 1907 at Frankfort, Clinton Co., IN, at age 62.³ He was buried at Kilmore United Methodist Church Cemetery, Frankfort, Clinton Co., IN.⁴

Sims married Martha Jane Bayless circa 1885.^2,5 William H. Sims died on 7 February 1908 at IN at age 80.² He was buried at Dayton Cemetery, Dayton, Tippecanoe Co., IN.²
