Kimm, in 1918 at New York, New York Co., NY.¹ Doric Tristan Jemison Ball died on 20 February 1974 at Fort Lewis, Pierce Co., WA, at age 85.¹

     Doric William Jemison Ball was born on 25 October 1922 at Colfax, Whitman Co., WA.¹ He was the son of Doric Tristan Jemison Ball and Lena Jane Harthill.¹ Doric William Jemison Ball married Jessie Robbins Boyd, daughter of William Porter Boyd and Susan Smith, on 5 July 1943 at Seattle, King Co., WA.¹ Doric William Jemison Ball died on 5 April 2001 at Puyallup, Pierce Co., WA, at age 78.¹ He was buried on 20 April 2001 at Sumner Cemetery, Sumner, Pierce Co., WA.¹
     He was living in Arlington WA in 1942 when he hoined the U.S. Coast Artillery as a Corporal. He accepted a commission in the Regular Army in June 1943. He was a U.S. Army Infantry Officer in World War II and in Korea. He was part of nuclear experiments in Nevada in 1957. He was a Lt.
