Simeon Bond Whalen married Caroline Green, daughter of John Green. Simeon Bond Whalen died on 18 July 1939 perhaps at Caplin Cove, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland, at age 80.^1,2 He was buried at United Church Cemetery, Caplin Cove, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland.²

     Caroline Green was born in September 1861 at Winterton, Newfoundland.¹ She was the daughter of John Green. Caroline Green married Simeon Bond Whalen, son of Edward Thomas Whalen and Clementine Janes. Caroline Green died on 3 June 1938 possibly at Caplin Cove, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland, at age 76.^1,2 She was buried at United Church Cemetery, Caplin Cove, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland.²
