     Sir Fredrick Grant Banting was born on 14 November 1891 at Alliston, Simcoe Co., ON, Canada.^1,2 He married Henrietta Elizabeth Ball, daughter of Henry Tenny Ball and Florence Mary Crocker, on 2 June 1939.^1,2 Sir Fredrick Grant Banting died on 21 February 1941 at Gander, Newfoundland, at age 49.^1,2

     Mary Pomeroy Ball was born on 1 October 1881 at QC, Canada.² She was the daughter of William Lee Ball and Clara Jane Haskell.^3,4 Mary Pomeroy Ball married Charles Henry Mansur, son of David A.
