     Aaron Ball was born on 6 October 1754 at Connecticut Farms, Union Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Esther Osborn.¹ Aaron Ball married Martha Wade, daughter of Henry Wade.¹ Aaron Ball married Hannah Willis, daughter of Thomas Willis.¹ Aaron Ball died on 21 December 1841 at Elizabeth, NJ, at age 87.¹

     James Ball was born on 16 February 1743/44 at Essex Co., NJ; near Hilton.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Esther Osborn.¹ James Ball married Eunice Meeker, daughter of Benjamin Meeker.¹ James Ball died on 29 February 1804 at age 60.¹

     Davis Ball was born on 2 July 1759 at Connecticut Farms, Union Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Esther Osborn.¹ Davis Ball married Mary Hatfield, daughter of Thomas Hatfield, in 1780 at Essex Co., NJ.¹ Davis Ball died on 27 March 1819 at Trenton, Butler Co., OH, at age 59; he kept a ferry on the Miami River and was drowned in high water.¹

     Nehemiah Ball was born on 1 December 1756 at Connecticut Farms, Union Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Ball and Esther Osborn.¹ Nehemiah Ball married Esther Sallee, daughter of Elizabeth (????), on 6 December 1777 at Elizabethtown, Union Co., NJ.² Nehemiah Ball died in June 1847 at Pulteney, Steuben Co., NY, at age 90.¹

     Stephen Ball was born on 21 October 1749 at NJ.¹ He was the son of Ezekiel Ball and Mary Jones.¹ Stephen Ball married Sarah Ross, daughter of George Ross and Joanna Ogden, circa 1768.¹ Stephen Ball died on 22 December 1783 at Chatham, Morris Co., NJ, at age 34.^1,2
     He was known as Dr. Stephen Ball, engaged in the practice of medicine. His formal education is not known; medical training in that day consisted or apprenticeship to a doctor for a period of some six years after which a man was considered ready for his own practice. As a side-line, Stephen also sold tickets for the Hanover, NJ lottery.¹ On 1 January 1777 he enlisted in the Revolutionary army and was commissioned surgeon's mate in the first New Jersey Regiment, commanded at that time by the Rt. Hon. William Earl Sterling. In the spring his regiment was in Elizabeth, but later that year he probably took part in the disastrous battle of Brandywine, Pa., which led to the loss of Philadelphia to the British. Stephen was reported 'sick absent' in October, but returned to duty November 4. Again in December he was reported sick. Stephen was reported absent without leave in January, but returned in February. Stephen's regiment was back in Elizabethtown by August; there he remained through the winter of 1778-1779. Stephen's military service ended in 1781 when he resigned with the rank of surgeon.¹

     Samuel Jones Ball was born on 28 July 1752 at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of Ezekiel Ball and Mary Jones.¹ Samuel Jones Ball married Hannah Gardner, daughter of Benjamin Gardner, before 1770.¹ Samuel Jones Ball died on 14 August 1780 at Connecticut Farms, Union Co., NJ, at age 28.¹
     He served as a private with the state troops and in the Continental army. He lost his life at the battle of Connecticut Farms in 1780.¹ His father, Ezekiel Ball, was named administrator of his estate 26 September 1780 in Essex Co. NJ.¹

     Hannah Gardner was the daughter of Benjamin Gardner.¹ Hannah Gardner married Samuel Jones Ball, son of Ezekiel Ball and Mary Jones, before 1770.¹ Hannah Gardner married Francis Lawrence after 14 August 1780.¹
     As of before 1770,her married name was Ball. As of after 14 August 1780,her married name was Lawrence.

     Oliver Ball was born between 1773 and 1779 at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of Samuel Jones Ball and Hannah Gardner.¹ Oliver Ball married Elizabeth Ward, daughter of Ebenezer Ward and Abigail Baldwin, on 14 December 1799 at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.¹ Oliver Ball died in 1845.¹

     She and Jonas Ball are thought to have had 18 children, seven of which died young.¹ Her married name was Ball.

     Isaac Ball was born circa 1762.¹ He was the son of Thomas Ball and Mary Crane.¹ Isaac Ball married Mary Day, daughter of Absolem Day, on 24 October 1795 at Rockaway, Morris Co., NJ.² Isaac Ball died on 18 May 1828.¹

     Thomas Ball was born circa 1774.¹ He was the son of Thomas Ball and Mary Crane.¹ Thomas Ball married Mary Ross.¹ Thomas Ball died circa 4 October 1849.¹

     Deborah Farrand was also known as Sarah.¹ As of 1764,her married name was Plume. As of say 1767,her married name was Ball.
