     Abigail Ball was born circa 1669 at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Ball and Abigail Blatchley.¹ Abigail Ball married Daniel Harrison, son of Richard Harrison and Sarah Hubbard.¹ Abigail Ball died on 1 December 1738 at Essex Co., NJ.¹
     Her married name was Harrison.

     Joseph Ball was born circa 1673 at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.^1,2 He was the son of Edward Ball and Abigail Blatchley.¹ Joseph Ball married first Hannah Harrison circa 1698.¹ Joseph Ball married second Elizabeth Daniel circa 1711.¹ Joseph Ball died on 25 April 1733 at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.² He was buried at Bloomfield, Essex Co., NJ.¹

     Lydia Ball was born circa 1676 at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.^1,2 She was the daughter of Edward Ball and Abigail Blatchley.¹ Lydia Ball married Joseph Peck, son of Joseph Peck and Mary Camp.¹ Lydia Ball died on 22 August 1742.²
     Her married name was Peck. She was mentioned in the will of cousin Moses Ball of Newark, Essex Co., NJ (proved 8 May 1747.)¹

     Moses Ball was born circa 1685; age at death 62y.^2,1 He was the son of Edward Ball and Abigail Blatchley.¹ Moses Ball married Mary Tichenor, daughter of John Tichenor.² Moses Ball died on 20 April 1747 at NJ.²
     He left a will on 28 March 1747; proven 8 May 1747.³

     Thomas Ball was born circa 1688 at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.² He was the son of Edward Ball and Abigail Blatchley.¹ Thomas Ball married Sarah Davis, daughter of Thomas Davis and Mary Ward, circa 1710.² Thomas Ball died on 18 October 1744 at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.¹ He was buried at Old Burying Ground, Newark, Essex Co., NJ; His headstone bears this inscription: Here Lies Ye Body of Thomas Ball, Decd Octr Ye 18tth 1744 In Ye 57 year of his Age Here lies an Aged Man of 4 years old. (This refers to his late profession of religion) Beloved Wife andd Children dear, Remember now I am gone.¹ He was buried at Fairmount Cemetery, Newark, Essex Co., NJ; His remains were moved to Fairmount Cemetery.¹
     He was a blacksmith by trade and he served as constable of Newark in 1715 and 1716. About 1718 he moved to a tract of land he had bought between Hilton and Jefferson Village (then called Newark Farms, now Maplewood, N J.)² Rogers, John, of Newark, Essex Co., yeoman; will of. Wife Elizabeth. Children--Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Sarah, Phebe, all under 18, brother Jabez, now absent. House and lot, 7 acres within the Neck Gate between Mr. Notman and ** Thomas Ball **, 6 a. in the Great Neck between Mr. Plum and Mr. Pierson, 2 1/2 a. in the Great Neck on the high-way between Benjamin Baldwin and brother Joseph Rogers, land and meadow on Tonie's Creek. Personal property. The wife sole executrix. Witnesses--Georg Harison, Nath'll Ward, John Cooper. Proved March 19, 1715-6.¹ His will was written.¹ Will probated.¹

     Aaron Ball was born circa 1713.¹ He was the son of Thomas Ball and Sarah Davis.¹ Aaron Ball married Hannah Camp, daughter of Samuel Camp, circa 1740.¹ Aaron Ball died on 22 September 1752.¹

     Joseph Peck was born on 9 October 1675 at New Haven, New Haven Co., CT.^1,2 He was the son of Joseph Peck and Mary Camp.¹ Joseph Peck married Lydia Ball, daughter of Edward Ball and Abigail Blatchley.¹ Joseph Peck died on 9 January 1746/47 at age 71.²

     Daniel Harrison was born circa 1661 at Branford, New Haven Co., CT.^2,1 He was the son of Richard Harrison and Sarah Hubbard.¹ Daniel Harrison married Abigail Ball, daughter of Edward Ball and Abigail Blatchley.¹ Daniel Harrison died on 1 December 1738.²

     Hannah Harrison married Joseph Ball, son of Edward Ball and Abigail Blatchley, circa 1698.¹ Hannah Harrison died in 1711.¹

     Mary Tichenor was born circa 1684; age at death 63y.^2,1 She was the daughter of John Tichenor.¹ Mary Tichenor married Moses Ball, son of Edward Ball and Abigail Blatchley.² Mary Tichenor died on 7 December 1747.²

     Sarah Davis was born circa 1690 at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.² She was the daughter of Thomas Davis and Mary Ward.¹ Sarah Davis married Thomas Ball, son of Edward Ball and Abigail Blatchley, circa 1710.² Sarah Davis died on 1 February 1778 at Essex Co., NJ.¹ She was buried at Connecticut Farms, Union Co., NJ.¹
     As of circa 1710,her married name was Ball.

     Timothy Ball was born on 26 October 1711 at Essex Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of Thomas Ball and Sarah Davis.¹ Timothy Ball married Esther Bruen, daughter of John Bruen and Mary Tomkins, in December 1734.¹ Timothy Ball died on 7 January 1758 at Orange, Essex Co., NJ, at age 46.¹ He was buried on 9 January 1758 at Old Burying Ground, Orange, Essex Co., NJ.¹

     Esther Bruen was born on 25 September 1715.¹ She was the daughter of John Bruen and Mary Tomkins.¹ Esther Bruen married Timothy Ball, son of Thomas Ball and Sarah Davis, in December 1734.¹ Esther Bruen died on 10 October 1803 at age 88.¹ She was buried at Old Burying Ground at the First Presbyterian Church, Orange, Essex Co., NJ.¹
     As of December 1734,her married name was Ball.

     Uzal Ball was born on 20 March 1747/48 at Orange, Essex Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of Timothy Ball and Esther Bruen.¹ Uzal Ball married Abigail Burnet.¹ Uzal Ball married Rebecca Hedden, daughter of Ebenezer Hedden, before 1781.² Uzal Ball died on 9 April 1799 at NJ at age 51.¹ He was buried at Springfield Church, Springfield, NJ.¹
     He was a Private in Captain Gillam's Company in 1780.¹ Administration of the estate of Uzal Ball of Essex Co., dec'd.¹

     Abigail Burnet was born on 20 August 1749 at England.¹ She married Uzal Ball, son of Timothy Ball and Esther Bruen.¹

     Rhoda Ball was born at Jefferson Village, NJ.¹ She was the daughter of Uzal Ball and Abigail Burnet.¹ Rhoda Ball married William M. Johnson in 1804.¹ Rhoda Ball died at New York, New York Co., NY.¹

     William M. Johnson married Rhoda Ball, daughter of Uzal Ball and Abigail Burnet, in 1804.¹

     Lydia Dodd was born on 13 August 1779.¹ She married John Baldwin on 28 May 1805.¹ Lydia Dodd died on 10 February 1821 at age 41.¹

     Caleb Ball was born circa 1728 at Hanover, Morris Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of Caleb Ball and Sarah Wallace.¹ Caleb Ball married Martha Sergant on 8 December 1748.¹ Caleb Ball married Mary Parrot, daughter of Thomas Parrot and Mary (????), on 3 April 1755.¹ Caleb Ball married Lois Gordon on 23 July 1780 at Essex Co., NJ.¹ Caleb Ball died on 15 November 1782.¹
     In 1748 Joshua Ball of Hanover, NJ, for and in consideration of eighty pounds of lawful money of New Jersey sold to his brother, Caleb Ball, bloomer, also of Hanover, a one equal sixth part of the Old Iron Works in Hanover, along with the one equal sixth part of the saw mill adjoining together with land, stream, dam, houses, cole house. This share in the Iron Works had previously belonged to their father Caleb Ball Sr.¹

     John Johnson was born on 12 August 1711.¹ He married Abigail Ball, daughter of Caleb Ball and Elizabeth Peck.¹ John Johnson died circa 4 May 1775 at Hanover, Morris Co., NJ.¹

     William Bates was born circa 1724.¹ He married Mary Ball, daughter of Caleb Ball and Elizabeth Peck.¹
