     Sarah Elizabeth Yatman was born on 22 June 1848 at Lafayette, Sussex Co., NJ.^1,2 She was the daughter of Esek Yatman and Arrenna Pollison.² Sarah Elizabeth Yatman married George Edward Ball, son of Ralph Burnet Ball and Catharine Titus, on 7 March 1867.¹ Sarah Elizabeth Yatman died on 5 March 1920 at Franklin, Sussex Co., NJ, at age 71.^1,2

     James Canfield married Electa Ball, daughter of Jacob Ball and Mary Vergenson, at Newark, Essex Co., NJ.¹

     Eliza Ann Ball was born circa 1810 at NJ.² She was the daughter of Abraham Ball and Phebe Ogden Clark.¹ Eliza Ann Ball married Aaron Faitout on 17 April 1830.¹ Eliza Ann Ball died on 1 December 1889 at Orange, Essex Co., NJ.¹
     As of 17 April 1830,her married name was Faitout.

     Susan Chamberlain was born on 7 February 1817 at NJ.^1,2 She married Jacob Ball, son of Abraham Ball and Phebe Ogden Clark, on 14 May 1836.¹ Susan Chamberlain died on 8 October 1865 at age 48.¹
     Comment by DGB: If Susan's husband, Jacob Ball, died in 1856, then he could not have fathered the twins born circa 1859 that were listed with Susan in the 1860 census. It is possible that the twins were children of her son Israel, but they were listed as though they were her children. End of comment. As of 14 May 1836,her married name was Ball.

     Israel Canfield Ball was born on 11 April 1837 at NJ.^1,2 He was the son of Jacob Ball and Susan Chamberlain.¹ Israel Canfield Ball died on 5 March 1909 at age 71.¹ He was buried at Fairmount Cemetery, Newark, Essex Co., NJ.¹
