He became owner of one-sixth of the 'Old Iron Works,' the common name for the Budd-Ford forge.¹ He left a will on 25 July 1748 at Hanover, Morris Co., NJ; The will of Caleb Ball dated 25 July 1748 at Hanover, Morris Co., NJ, lists sons Isaiah, Joshua, Caleb, Ezekiel, Mathew, as well as daughters Abigail Johnson, Eliner Ball, Jane Perry, Mary Bates, Sarah Ball, Lydia Ball, Ann Ball, Deborah Ball, and Keziah Kitchel (deceased with heirs.)³ The will of Caleb Ball was proven 29 August 1748.¹

     Anne Ball was born circa 1745.¹ She was the daughter of Caleb Ball and Sarah Wallace.¹ Anne Ball married Jacob Cory on 19 February 1781 at Hanover, Morris Co., NJ.¹
