     Comment by DGB: While it is possible that the data here for Mathew Ball actually is a mix of data from two different Mathew Ball individuals (because a history of Center Township suggests that Mathew was born in Wales in 1745, came to America shortly after the Revolutionary War and first settled in Allegany Co. MD and moved to Noble Co. OH about 1818). However, there is no further evidence to support that concept. End of comment.

     Elizabeth Athey was born circa 1784.¹ She married Mathew Ball, son of Mathew Ball and Ruth (????), on 9 February 1802 at Allegany Co., MD.¹ Elizabeth Athey died before 1835; Comment by DGB: During the probate of Mathew Ball's will in March 1835, his wife Elizabeth was removed as his executrix. It is assumed that she had died before that date. End of comment.²

     Ephraim Vorheis was born on 16 October 1795 at PA.¹ He married Susannah Ball, daughter of Mathew Ball and Ruth (????), on 28 July 1817 at Guernsey Co., OH.¹ Ephraim Vorheis died on 19 August 1849 at Wapello Co., IA, at age 53.¹

     Delilah Medley was born circa 1800 at MD.¹ She married John W. Ball, son of Mathew Ball and Ruth (????), on 9 February 1829 at Montgomery Co., MD.¹ Delilah Medley died on 26 April 1887 at Jefferson, OH.¹ She was buried at Oagle's Cemetery, Noble Co., OH.¹
     As of 9 February 1829,her married name was Ball.

     Daniel Ball was born circa 1802 at Montgomery Co., MD.^1,2 He was the son of Mathew Ball and Elizabeth Athey.¹ Daniel Ball married Drusilla Rambo, daughter of Joseph Rambo and Sarah Warren, circa 1820. Daniel Ball died on 21 May 1885 at Wood Co., WV.³ He was buried at Providence Church Cemetery, Jackson Co., WV.⁴

     Drusilla Rambo was born circa 1799 at PA.³ She was the daughter of Joseph Rambo and Sarah Warren.² Drusilla Rambo married Daniel Ball, son of Mathew Ball and Elizabeth Athey, circa 1820. Drusilla Rambo died on 28 October 1878 at Noble Co., OH.¹ She was buried at Archers Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery, Fulda, Noble Co., OH.⁴
