Mrs. Cheney was the first superintendent of schools for Natrona county, and for her second term was nominated by both parties and unanimously elected. She was born in New Hampshire and began to teach school at the age 14. For twenty years she was continuously connected with school work. She was 72 years of age when she died. Surviving Mr. Cheney are his widow, and the following children: Mrs. Ruby Bodie [sic], W. H.
