     Note that the 1900 census lists Sophia as having birthed 8 children with 3 having died before 1900. It is not clear whether any of those three that had died were children of Benjamin Swena, but likely no more than one was and that the others were by a previous husband.² As of 4 July 1854,her married name was Sweeney.¹
