     Adelia R. Buck was born on 18 April 1862 at Richland, Oswego Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Buck and Lydia Weed.¹ Adelia R. Buck married Albert R. Ball, son of John Albert Ball and Amy T. Woodruff, circa 1891.^1,2 Adelia R. Buck died on 8 April 1935 at Mexico, Oswego Co., NY, at age 72.¹ She was buried at Mexico Primitive Cemetery, Mexico, Oswego Co., NY.¹
     As of circa 1891,her married name was Ball. Her married name was McCann. From an obituary in the "Mexico Independent": Mrs. Delia R. McCann, aged 72, died Monday evening, April 8, 1935 at 9:30 o'clock at her home in Norman avenue. Mrs. McCann suffered a stroke about ten days ago from which she never rallied. She was the daughter of the late Edward Buck and Lydia Weed Buck. Most of her life was spent in the town and village of Mexico, where she was well known. She was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church of this village, and the Women's Relief Corps as long as it was in existence. Mrs. McCann was twice married. Her first husband was Albert Ball. After his death she married William McCann, both of Mexico. She leaves four brothers, Fred Buck of Clark's Mills, Charles F. of Mexico, New York, Henry M. of Minnesota and Albert H. of Daysville; also several nephews and nieces.¹
