Mitchell died on 16 October 1971 at Dayton, Columbia Co., WA, at age 77.¹ She was buried at Dayton City Cemetery, Dayton, Columbia Co., WA.²

     Harry Mitchell Turner was also known as Tap.¹ From an obituary in a Dayton WA newspaper: Harry Turner, 84, of 703 E. Patit Street. He died Jaunuary 4, 2000, at Dayton General Hospital. Mr. Turner was born June 21, 1915, in Dayton to Harry H. and Lois Mitchell Turner. He graduated in 1933 from Dayton High School. On June 23, 1940, he married Lenora jean Payne in Orofino, Idaho. They lived in Pasco for 30 years, and he was a short-haul tanker truck driver for Arrow Transportation. He retried in 1977, and they returned to Dayton in 1979. He was a member of Teamsters Union. He enjoyed fishing, reading and camping trips to places of historical interest. Survivors include his wife, at home; a son, Larry Turner of Burbank; a daughter, Laurel Goodwater of Columbia County; a brother Donald Gene Turner of Dayton; four grand-children and three great-grand-children. Mitchell.¹ Leslie Richard Turner married Mary Frank in 1939 at Dayton, Columbia Co., WA.^2,1 Leslie Richard Turner and Mary Frank were divorced in 1946.¹ Leslie Richard Turner died on 24 April 1982 at Dayton, Columbia Co., WA, at age 65.¹ He was buried at Dayton City Cemetery, Dayton, Columbia Co., WA.³
     From an obituary: Leslie Richard Turner died at his home, 416 E. Clay, on Saturday, April 24. He was 65. He was born April 17, 1917, the son of Harry and Lois Mitchell Turner. he graduated from Dayton High School in 1935. He worked on the Columbia County Survey crew. He joined the Air Force during World War II, and was with the 13th Air Force in the South Pacific. he flew fifty missions as chief gunner in B-24s. Following the war, he worked with the Corps of Engineers as a surveyor. He enlisted in the Air Force during the Korean war, serving as staff sargeant. he was a gunner instructor for B-29 crews. Returning from the war, he resumed work with the Corps of Engineers, as a topographer and a surveyor. He worked from the Dalles Dam to Dworshak Dam. During the last few years, he was self employed as a surveyor in the Dayton area. In 1939 he married Mary Frank, in Dayton. They were divorces in 1946. He is survived by a son, John David Turner, a daughter, Cindy Robins, Dayton; two brothers, Donald Gene Turner and Harry M. Turner, both of Dayton; a sister, June Hubner, of Post Falls, Idaho.¹

     Donald Gene Turner was born on 16 March 1924 at WA.¹ He was the son of Harry Hill Turner and Lois M. Mitchell.¹ Donald Gene Turner died on 21 April 2013 at Walla Walla, Walla Walla Co., WA, at age 89.¹ He was buried at Dayton City Cemetery, Dayton, Columbia Co., WA.²

     Anita Emma Turner was born on 15 February 1895 at Dayton, Columbia Co., WA; Note: the 1900 census shows a birth date of March 1894.^1,3 She was the daughter of David Turner and Margaret M. Ball.¹ Anita Emma Turner married Roy Lee Crall, son of John Henry Crall and Emma Alice Kendall, on 19 February 1913 at Dayton, Columbia Co., WA.¹ Anita Emma Turner died on 29 November 1985 at Hoquiam, Grays Harbor Co., WA, at age 90.¹ She was buried at New Tacoma Cemetery, University Place, Pierce Co., WA.⁴
     As of 19 February 1913,her married name was Crall.¹ From an obituary in the Aberdeen "Daily World": Anita Emma Crall, 90, a Hoquiam resident for the past seven years, died Friday in a local nursing home. Born Feb. 15, 1895, in Dayton, Wash., she came to Olympia in 1953, from Waitsburg, Wash., and to Hoquiam in 1978 to be with her daughter, Erma Gilbertson. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Christian Church in Waitsburg. Her husband Roy L. Crall, died in 1978. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Erma) Gilbertson of Hoquiam; three grandchildren, Carri Jo Goedfrey of Cosmopolis, Candy Hay of Sumner, and Dr. Robert McCoy of Portland, Ore; two brothers, Forrest Turner of Bend, Ore. and Lavette Turner of Arizona; a sister, Daisy Abel of Dayton, Wash. and four great-grandchildren.      Roy Lee Crall was born on 2 June 1892 at Dayton, Columbia Co., WA.¹ He was the son of John Henry Crall and Emma Alice Kendall.¹ Roy Lee Crall married Anita Emma Turner, daughter of David Turner and Margaret M. Ball, on 19 February 1913 at Dayton, Columbia Co., WA.² Roy Lee Crall died on 16 August 1978 at Hoquiam, Greys Harbor Co., WA, at age 86.²
