     Irving Powers was born circa 1870 at Lunenburg, Essex Co., VT.¹ He was the son of Daniel Powers and Elizabeth Ann Ball.¹ Irving Powers married Mildred Giles, daughter of Thomas Giles and Emma Foster, on 10 July 1901 at Revere, Suffolk Co., MA.¹
     Comment by DGB: There was an "Irwin D. Powers" b. Feb 1870 in VT, machinist, with wife of 4 years, Lillian b. Jan 1875 in MA, living in Boston MA for the 1900 census. Also, there was an "Irving B. Powers" age 51, b. VT, alone, but listed as married, machinist, living in Los Angeles CA for the 1920 census. He was again lin Los Angeles CA for the 1930 listed as "Irving D. Powers" age 59, b. VT, mechanic, single. It is possible all of these records relate to the same Irving Powers born to Daniel Powers and Elizabeth Ann Ball. End of comment.

Welsh were divorced before 1901.¹ Mildred Giles married Irving Powers, son of Daniel Powers and Elizabeth Ann Ball, on 10 July 1901 at Revere, Suffolk Co., MA.¹
