     Benjamin Lincoln Ball was born on 29 March 1820 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of Stephen Ball and Lydia Lincoln.¹ Benjamin Lincoln Ball died on 11 December 1859 at Chiriqui, Panama, at age 39; (probably refers to Chiriqui Province, Panama.)¹
     He graduated from Harvard in 1844 and Amherst with an Hon. B. A. in 1856. He traveled extensively over Eastern Asia, the Islands of Pacific; also in Centeral and South America.¹ He published a book in 1856 about his Asian travels: "Rambles in Eastern Asia, including China and Manilla, during several years' residence."

     Nahum Ball was born on 21 March 1822 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of Stephen Ball and Lydia Lincoln.¹ Nahum Ball died on 2 November 1846 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, at age 24; while attending Harvard University.^1,3

     Sarah Fearing Ball was born on 31 March 1828 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA.² She was the daughter of Stephen Ball and Lydia Lincoln.¹ Sarah Fearing Ball married George W. Searle, son of Joseph Searle and Mary Halloway, on 23 December 1849 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA.^3,4 Sarah Fearing Ball and George W. Searle were divorced before 1860.³ Sarah Fearing Ball died on 12 June 1925 at age 97.⁵ She was buried at Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough, Worcester Co., MA.⁵

     Charles Mayo was born on 10 February 1809 at Brewster, Barnstable Co., MA.² He was the son of John Mayo.³ Charles Mayo married Lucinda Ware, daughter of David Ware, on 21 August 1834.² Charles Mayo married Harriet Ward Ball, daughter of Stephen Ball and Lydia Lincoln, on 6 June 1844 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA.³ Charles Mayo died on 2 January 1859 at Olathe, Johnson Co., KS, at age 49.²
