     Edwin Smith Ball was born on 1 November 1817 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.² He was the son of Perley Ball and Phebe Smith.¹ Edwin Smith Ball married Mary Cummings, daughter of John Cummings and Catharine Holman, on 1 January 1845 at Southbridge, Worcester Co., MA.³ Edwin Smith Ball and Mary Cummings posted marriage intentions on 7 December 1844 at Dudley, Worcester Co., MA.⁴ Edwin Smith Ball died on 20 July 1871 at Oxford, Worcester Co., MA, at age 53.⁵ He was buried at North Cemetery, Oxford, Worcester Co., MA.⁶

     Carlton J. Martin was born circa 1829 at VT.² He married Hannah Ball, daughter of Perley Ball and Phebe Smith, on 28 May 1855 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.¹

     Sylvania Beckwith was born on 26 December 1795 at VT.^1,2 She was the daughter of Amos Beckwith and Susannah Truman.³ Sylvania Beckwith married Arad Ball, son of James Fay Ball and Abigail Starr, in 1825.¹ Sylvania Beckwith died on 8 April 1856 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT, at age 60.⁴ She was buried at Sutton Village Cemetery, Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.³

     Truman Z. Ball was born on 15 February 1828 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.² He was the son of Arad Ball and Sylvania Beckwith.¹ Truman Z. Ball married Sarah Bethelie Richardson, daughter of Jonathan Richardson and Nancy Ingalls, on 11 March 1858 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT; also recorded at Wheelock, Caledonia Co., VT.³ Truman Z. Ball died on 31 May 1862 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT, at age 34.³

     Amos B. Ball was born on 8 July 1830 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.² He was the son of Arad Ball and Sylvania Beckwith.¹ Amos B. Ball married Emily N. Stetson on 11 April 1850 at Manchester, Hillsborough Co., NH.^3,4 Amos B. Ball and Emily N. Stetson were divorced on 7 October 1881 at Grafton Co., NH.⁴ Amos B. Ball died on 2 March 1923 at Piermont, Grafton Co., NH, at age 92.^5,2

     Caroline A. Ball was born on 4 August 1832 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.² She was the daughter of Arad Ball and Sylvania Beckwith.¹ Caroline A. Ball married Elbridge Bain Gee, son of Elisha Gee and Judith Brown, on 20 May 1868 at Marlow, Cheshire Co., NH.² Caroline A. Ball died on 11 April 1921 at Oneonta, Otsego Co., NY, at age 88.³ She was buried at Marlow Village Cemetery, Marlow, Cheshire Co., NH.³

     Daniel Beckwith Ball was born on 2 February 1837 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.^2,1 He was the son of Arad Ball and Sylvania Beckwith.³ Daniel Beckwith Ball married Isabella Davis Keene, daughter of Robert Stein Keene and Isabel Davis, on 7 September 1864 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA.¹ Daniel Beckwith Ball died on 10 December 1918 at Wilcox, Kearney Co., NE, at age 81.¹ He was buried at Wilcox Cemetery, Wilcox, Kearney Co., NE.¹

     James H. Ball was born circa July 1840 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.^2,3 He was the son of Arad Ball and Sylvania Beckwith.¹ James H. Ball died on 3 June 1862 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.³ He was buried at Sutton Village Cemetery, Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.⁴

     Albert H. Ball was born on 9 December 1834 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.² He was the son of Arad Ball and Sylvania Beckwith.¹ Albert H. Ball married Malinda Eastman, daughter of David Eastman and Deborah Ainger, on 8 December 1859 at Lyndon, Caledonia Co., VT.³ Albert H. Ball died on 13 January 1916 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT, at age 81; year based on age at death of 81y 1m 4d.² He was buried at Sutton Village Cemetery, Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.⁴
     He was a town representative in 1878 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.¹

     Harriet Humphrey was born circa 1806 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.^1,2 She was the daughter of Bela Humphrey and Rebeccah Beckwith.³ Harriet Humphrey married Lucius Ball, son of James Fay Ball and Abigail Starr, on 20 February 1825 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.⁴ Harriet Humphrey died on 6 November 1861.¹ She was buried at Packer Cemetery, Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.³
     As of 20 February 1825,her married name was Ball.

     James Bradley Ball was born circa 8 December 1836 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.^2,3,4 He was the son of Lucius Ball and Harriet Humphrey.¹ James Bradley Ball married Sophia M. Osgood, daughter of Elijah Osgood and Amanda C. Burnham, on 18 March 1866 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.⁵ James Bradley Ball died on 6 December 1886 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.^3,4 He was buried at Newark Street Cemetery, Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.³
     Sometime after 1881 James Bradley Ball and Sophia M. Osgood adopted a daughter that thereafter went by the name of Jessie L. Ball.¹

     Corydon Ball was born on 24 July 1842 at VT.^2,3 He was the son of Lucius Ball and Harriet Humphrey.⁴ Corydon Ball died on 14 September 1865 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT, at age 23.^5,3 He was buried at Packer Cemetery, Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.⁵

     Arnold Ball was born on 16 May 1826 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.^2,3 He was the son of Lucius Ball and Harriet Humphrey.¹ Arnold Ball married Amelia L. Walter, daughter of Merrit Hibbard Walter and Orpha Flowers, on 24 August 1863 at St. Johnsbury, Caledonia Co., VT.³ Arnold Ball died on 3 November 1908 at East Haven, Essex Co., VT, at age 82.³ He was buried at East Haven Cemetery, East Haven, Essex Co., VT.⁴

     Alfred A. Ball was born on 10 January 1828 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT; age at death 84y 1m 24d.^2,3 He was the son of Lucius Ball and Harriet Humphrey.¹ Alfred A.      Lorinda Ball was born circa 1831 at VT.¹ She was the daughter of Lucius Ball and Harriet Humphrey.² Lorinda Ball married Russell Rupert Dolloff, son of Henry Dolloff and Phebe Lowd, say 1852.³ Lorinda Ball died on 9 January 1892 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.⁴ She was buried at Newark Street Cemetery, Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.³

     Amanda Kinnicut Mason was born on 21 December 1810 at Swansea, Bristol Co., MA; age at death 77y 7m 16d.² She was the daughter of William Mason and Lydia Brown.² Amanda Kinnicut Mason married Stephen Ball, son of Stephen Ball and Lydia Lincoln, on 1 January 1838 at Swansea, Bristol Co., MA.³ Amanda Kinnicut Mason died on 6 August 1888 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA, at age 77.² She was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River, Bristol Co., MA.^2,4

     Emeline J. Chandler was born on 24 July 1816 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Benjamin Chandler and Nancy Hyler.⁵ Emeline J. Chandler married Jonas Ball, son of Stephen Ball and Lydia Lincoln, on 21 September 1842 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA.¹ Emeline J. Chandler died on 18 January 1915 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 98.⁵ She was buried at Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough, Worcester Co., MA.⁴
