     Nathan Ball was born on 16 June 1731 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA.^1,2 He was the son of Nathan Ball and Mary Williams.¹ Nathan Ball married Elizabeth Reed on 25 March 1766 at Groton, Middlesex Co., MA.³
     They resided in Boylston, MA.¹

     John Ball was born on 18 July 1738 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of James Nathan Ball and Sarah Harrington.² John Ball married Abigail Wilder on 22 April 1761 at Lancaster, Worcester Co., MA.³ John Ball married Mary Baker on 5 November 1772 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA.⁴ John Ball died on 17 April 1801 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA, at age 62.⁵ He was buried at Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough, Worcester Co., MA.²

     Dinah Fay and James Nathan Ball posted marriage intentions on 30 April 1764 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA; "May ye 8th, 1764, on ye day above sd ye above sd Nathan Ball forbid his being published to ye above sd Dinah Fay."²

     James Fay Ball was born on 15 April 1754 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of James Nathan Ball.³ James Fay Ball married Abigail Starr, daughter of Captain Comfort Starr and Judith Cooper, on 3 August 1780 at Guilford, Windham Co., VT.¹ James Fay Ball died on 9 September 1834 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT, at age 80.¹ He was buried at Packer Cemetery, Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.¹
     They resided in Guilford and Marlboro, NH and later in Newark, Vermont. He served seven years in the Revolutionary War.³ He Comment by DGB: While some trees list Dinah Fay as the mother to James Fay Ball, it may have been that his father, James Nathan Ball, had not been married to that Dinah Fay at the time, hence the much later date for filing of a marriage intent between James Nathan Ball and Dinah Fay.      Abigail Harrington was born on 24 July 1698 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA; "Abigail Heringten."² She was the daughter of Samuel Harrington and Grace Livermore.² Abigail Harrington married John Ball, son of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske, say 1717.¹ Abigail Harrington died on 25 November 1728 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 30.^3,4 She was buried at Grove Hill Cemetery, Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA.⁵
     As of say 1717,her married name was Ball.

     James Ball was born circa 1719.¹ He was the son of John Ball and Abigail Harrington.¹ James Ball died circa 1764.¹
     Comment by DGB: Warren has this James the father of the James Ball that married Zebiah Williams, but that James' parents were more likely to have been the couple James Ball and Lydia Rice. End of comment.

     Grace Ball was born on 17 May 1721 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of John Ball and Abigail Harrington.¹ Grace Ball died on 19 June 1738 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 17.³

     Amity Ball was born on 7 February 1722/23 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA; "Aminctee."² She was the daughter of John Ball and Abigail Harrington.¹ Amity Ball died on 26 June 1738 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 15.³

     Anna Ball was born on 16 December 1724 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of John Ball and Abigail Harrington.¹ Anna Ball married Ebenezer Bartlett on 17 August 1745 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA.³ Anna Ball died on 28 May 1800 at Newton, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 75.³
     As of 17 August 1745,her married name was Bartlett.

     Ebenezer Bartlett was born on 8 April 1703 at Newton, Middlesex Co., MA.¹ He married Ann Clark, daughter of John Clark and Ann Bird, on 24 June 1736 at Newton, Middlesex Co., MA.¹ Ebenezer Bartlett married Anna Ball, daughter of John Ball and Abigail Harrington, on 17 August 1745 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA.¹ Ebenezer Bartlett died on 2 March 1788 at Newton, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 84.¹

     Samuel Ball was born on 5 September 1726 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² He was the son of John Ball and Abigail Harrington.¹ Samuel Ball died on 30 November 1726 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.^2,3 He was buried at Grove Hill Cemetery, Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA.⁴

     Her married name was Perry.¹ As of 4 October 1739,her married name was Ball.¹

     Mary Ball was born on 13 August 1741 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of John Ball and Lydia (????)¹ Mary Ball married Peter Proctor, son of Robert Proctor and Mary Harwood, on 25 June 1761 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.³ Mary Ball and Peter Proctor posted marriage intentions on 11 April 1761 at Littleton, Middlesex Co., MA.⁴ Mary Ball died on 24 June 1814 at Warwick, Franklin Co., MA, at age 72.⁵ She was buried at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, Franklin Co., MA.⁵

     Peter Proctor was born on 26 March 1735 at Littleton, Middlesex Co., MA.² He was the son of Robert Proctor and Mary Harwood.² Peter Proctor married Mary Ball, daughter of John Ball and Lydia (????), on 25 June 1761 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.³ Peter Proctor and Mary Ball posted marriage intentions on 11 April 1761 at Littleton, Middlesex Co., MA.⁴ Peter Proctor died on 31 August 1822 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 87.² He was buried at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, Franklin Co., MA.⁵

     John Ball was born on 16 December 1742 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA; twin of Josiah.² He was the son of John Ball and Lydia (????)¹ John Ball married Lydia Ward on 27 August 1769 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.³ John Ball died on 8 February 1814 at Deerfield, Franklin Co., MA, at age 71.⁴ He was buried at East Deerfield Cemetery, East Deerfield, Franklin Co., MA.¹

     Josiah Ball was born on 16 December 1742 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA; twin of John.² He was the son of John Ball and Lydia (????)¹ Josiah Ball married Esther Ward, daughter of Daniel Ward and Mary Stone, on 26 February 1768 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA; "Easter Ward."³ Josiah Ball died on 26 July 1810 at Berkshire, Tioga Co., NY, at age 67.⁴ He was buried at Brown's Settlement Cemetery, Berkshire, Tioga Co., NY.⁴
     They resided first in Worcester, moved to Stockbridge shortly after 1770, and finally relocated to Berkshire, New York in Jun 1794, among the early settlers there. He was a Revolutionary War soldier from Stockbridge.¹

     Isaac Ball was born on 16 August 1744 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA.² He was the son of John Ball and Lydia (????)¹ Isaac Ball married Rachel Terrell, daughter of James Terrell and Abigail Buck, on 10 December 1776 at New Canaan, Fairfield Co., CT.³ Isaac Ball died in 1784 at Stockbridge, Berkshire Co., MA.⁴
     He may have been the Isaac who was grantee of Waterbury, Vermont.¹

     Jonas Ball was born on 5 October 1748 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of John Ball and Lydia (????)¹ Jonas Ball married Mehitabel Latham, daughter of James Latham and Abigail Harvey, on 31 October 1776.³ Jonas Ball died on 21 November 1803 at Warwick, Franklin Co., MA, at age 55.³ He was buried at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, Franklin Co., MA.⁴

     Jonathan Ball was born on 16 April 1747 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of John Ball and Lydia (????)¹ Jonathan Ball married Anna Gibbs.¹
     They first resided in Southboro, but went to Marlboro, NH in 1787. He built a tavern there on the Flint place, now in the town limits of Troy, NH and continued to keep a public house until 1796, when he sold to Christopher Harris and decided to remove to New York State, probably near where his brothers had located. On his journey there his daughter, Rebeca, became suddenly ill and died before reaching the end of the journey.³

     Joseph Ball was born on 10 January 1750/51 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of John Ball and Lydia (????)¹ Joseph Ball married Lucretia Stearns on 12 October 1780 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.³ Joseph Ball died in 1817 at Bloomfield, NY.¹
