Ball married Eliza Abbie Goodell, daughter of Moses Goodell and Emma Holden, on 2 January 1863 at Springfield, Windsor Co., VT.⁴ Henry W. Ball married Mary M. Crandall, daughter of Worthy Crandall and Sarah Blackmer, on 26 March 1879 at Weston, Windsor Co., VT.⁴ Henry W. Ball and Mary E. Dunham posted marriage intentions on 14 October 1840 at Dorchester, Norfolk Co., MA; "Mary."⁵ Henry W. Ball died on 7 February 1895 at Chester, Windsor Co., VT.⁴

Dunham married Henry W. Ball, son of Rufus Ball and Elizabeth Sealy, on 26 November 1840 at Londonderry, Windham Co., VT; "Mary."² Mary E. Dunham and Henry W. White, daughter of Stilman White and Lucy Holt, on 21 November 1872 at Andover, Windsor Co., VT.⁵ William Dunham Ball married Eva Elizabeth Dorval, daughter of Eusebe Dorval and Relief M. Wiley, on 19 November 1878 at Ludlow, Windsor Co., VT.^6,5 William Dunham Ball died on 26 October 1912 at Ludlow, Windsor Co., VT.³ He was buried at Pleasant View Cemetery, Ludlow, Windsor Co., VT.⁷

     Elizabeth Ella Ball was born on 3 July 1845 at Bellows Falls, Windham Co., VT.² She was the daughter of Henry W. Ball and Mary E. Dunham.³ Elizabeth Ella Ball married Walter Eaton Mellish, son of William Mellish and Hannah Pope, on 8 January 1867 at Bellows Falls, Windham Co., VT.² Elizabeth Ella Ball died on 9 July 1918 at West Groton, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 73.² She was buried at Center Cemetery, Shirley, Middlesex Co., MA.²
     As of 8 January 1867,her married name was Mellish. Excerpts from an obituary: "Mrs. Elizabeth E. Mellish, wife of Walter E. Mellish, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, at the home of her son, Edward W. Mellish, in West Groton, where, with her husband, she had been for a week. The cause of her death was acute nephritis. Her age was 73 years and 6 days. The desceased was born on July 3, 1845, in Bellows Falls, Vt., and was a daughter of Henry W. and Mary (Dunham) Ball, her father being a tanner. On Jan. 8, 1867, she married Mr. Mellish at Bellows Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Mellish celebrating their golden wedding anniversary in January, 1917.
     Mrs. Mellish, with her husband, has been a resident of Shirley for 30 years, although for several years Mr. and Mrs. Mellish have spent the winters with their daughters near Boston. She attended the Shirley Baptist church, and took a deep interest in its affairs. Besides her husband she leaves a son, Edward W. Mellish of West Groton, two daughters, Annie Mellish Woodland, wife of Stuart Woodland of Cambridge, and Helen Mellish Peers, wife of Herbert Peers of Peabody, and four grandchildren, Marion A.      Laura Ann Ball was born circa 12 April 1849 at Jamaica, Windham Co., VT; age at death 15y 6m 2d.² She was the daughter of Henry W. Ball and Mary E. Dunham.¹ Laura Ann Ball died on 14 October 1864 at Londonerry, Windham Co., VT.²

     Eliza Abbie Goodell was born circa 1817 at VT. She was the daughter of Moses Goodell and Emma Holden.¹ Eliza Abbie Goodell married George York on 17 March 1861 at Mount Holly, Rutland Co., VT.¹ Eliza Abbie Goodell married Henry W. Ball, son of Rufus Ball and Elizabeth Sealy, on 2 January 1863 at Springfield, Windsor Co., VT.¹ Eliza Abbie Goodell died on 13 April 1878 at Londonderry, Windham Co., VT.¹ She was buried at Tarbellville Cemetery, Tarbellville, Rutland Co., VT.²
     As of 17 March 1861,her married name was York.¹ As of 21 January 1863,her married name was Ball.³

     Mary M. Crandall was born circa 1829 at Dorset, Bennington Co., VT.² She was the daughter of Worthy Crandall and Sarah Blackmer.¹ Mary M. Crandall married Henry W. Ball, son of Rufus Ball and Elizabeth Sealy, on 26 March 1879 at Weston, Windsor Co., VT.²

Ball married Christina Hart, daughter of Willis Hart and Ann A. Johnson, on 8 February 1878 at Londonerry, Windham Co., VT.² Henry W. Ball and Christina Hart were divorced before 1883.^4,2

     Frank P. Ball was born circa 1855 at Jamaica, Windham Co., VT.^1,2 He was the son of Henry W. Ball and Mary E. Dunham.¹ Frank P. Ball married Helen C. Spafford, daughter of Alvah M. Spafford and Mary E. Angier, on 11 October 1882 at Ludlow, Windsor Co., VT.²

     Ebenezer Ball was born circa 1790 at VT.² He was the son of James Fay Ball and Abigail Starr.¹ Ebenezer Ball married Sally Kenney on 30 May 1818 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.³ Ebenezer Ball died on 28 October 1874 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.³

     Aaron Ball was born on 18 August 1781 at NH.^2,3 He was the son of Eleazer Ball and Mary Bradish.⁴ Aaron Ball married Betsy Pillsbury on 7 December 1806 at Groton, Grafton Co., NH.^1,3 Aaron Ball died on 15 May 1871 at IA at age 89.^5,3 He was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., IA.⁵
     Comment by DGB: The link between Aaron and parents Eleazer Ball and Mary Bradish comes from the note in a Black Hawk Co., IA, history that says Aaron's father was Eleazer of Hollis, Massachusetts. End of Comment.⁴

     Betsy Pillsbury was born on 30 January 1786 at NH.^2,3 She married Aaron Ball, son of Eleazer Ball and Mary Bradish, on 7 December 1806 at Groton, Grafton Co., NH.^1,3 Betsy Pillsbury died on 24 February 1870 at age 84.³
     As of 1 December 1807,her married name was Ball.¹

     Rev. Aaron Ball was born on 17 August 1821 at Groton, Grafton Co., NH.^2,3 He was the son of Aaron Ball and Betsy Pillsbury.¹ Rev. Aaron Ball married Amorett Bemis.⁴ Rev. Aaron Ball married Laurette Ville Miller, daughter of Simpson Miller and Rhoena Wells, circa 1855.¹ Rev. Aaron Ball married Laura S. Smith on 11 April 1873 at Bradford, Orange Co., VT.³ Rev. Aaron Ball died on 16 October 1887 at age 66.⁵ He was buried at Pleasant View Cemetery, Kewanee, Henry Co., IL.⁵

     Mary Adeline Ball was born on 23 June 1819 at Groton, Grafton Co., NH.^2,3 She was the daughter of Aaron Ball and Betsy Pillsbury.¹ Mary Adeline Ball married Marshal Rix, son of Daniel Rix and Anna Cleveland, circa 1840.⁴ Mary Adeline Ball died on 15 September 1886 at Sharon, Windsor Co., VT, at age 67.⁵

     Merrill P. Ball was born on 1 September 1816 at Groton, Grafton Co., NH.^2,3 He was the son of Aaron Ball and Betsy Pillsbury.¹ Merrill P. Ball married Fredoria L. (????) say 1855.⁴

     Elizabeth Ball was born on 25 December 1808 at Groton, Grafton Co., NH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Aaron Ball and Betsy Pillsbury.¹ Elizabeth Ball married Rev. Enoch Jenkins, son of Rev. Herman Jenkins and Clarissa Brown, on 4 March 1831 at Bethany, Genesee Co., NY; married by his father.³ Elizabeth Ball died on 28 August 1888 at IA at age 79.⁴ She was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., IA.⁴
