     Samuel Ball was born on 13 November 1777.1 He was the son of Josiah Ball and Esther Ward.1 Samuel Ball married Jerusha Slosson, daughter of Enoch Slosson and Sarah St. John, in 1803.1 Samuel Ball died on 12 September 1841 at Knoxville, PA, at age 63.1
