     As of 21 January 1816,her married name was Brigham.⁴

     Susannah Ball was born on 15 April 1793 at Concord, Essex Co., VT; "Suky."² She was the daughter of Joseph Ball and Susannah Forbes.³ Susannah Ball married William Newton Onthank, son of William Onthank and Submit Newton, on 13 October 1819 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA; "William Jr. and Susan."¹ Susannah Ball died on 3 May 1837 at VT at age 44.⁴
     As of 13 October 1819,her married name was Onthank.¹

     Joseph Ball was born on 11 April 1795 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.² He was the son of Joseph Ball and Susannah Forbes.¹

     Polly Ball was born on 12 May 1797 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.² She was the daughter of Joseph Ball and Susannah Forbes.¹

     Nahum Ball was born on 8 May 1799 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.² He was the son of Joseph Ball and Susannah Forbes.¹ Nahum Ball married Marinda Dudley on 16 January 1822 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co., MA.³

     Sally Forbes Ball was born on 13 May 1801 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.² She was the daughter of Joseph Ball and Susannah Forbes.¹ Sally Forbes Ball died in March 1872 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT, at age 70.²
     Her married name was Powers.²

     Nancy Ball was born on 19 April 1803 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.² She was the daughter of Joseph Ball and Susannah Forbes.¹ Nancy Ball married Elisha Brigham on 15 March 1832 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.^3,4 Nancy Ball died on 23 March 1845 at Monroe, Monroe Co., MI, at age 41.³ She was buried at Woodland Cemetery, Monroe, Monroe Co., MI.³
     Her married name was Jimerson.⁴ As of 15 March 1832,her married name was Brigham.

     Levi Ball was born on 24 February 1805 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.^2,3 He was the son of Joseph Ball and Susannah Forbes.¹ Levi Ball married Mercy Adams on 28 December 1828.¹ Levi Ball married Rebecca Blanchard on 7 February 1841.¹ Levi Ball died on 26 January 1892 at Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT, at age 86.⁴ He was buried at Sutton Village Cemetery, Sutton, Caledonia Co., VT.⁵
     [comment by DGB] Warren in his book on descendants of John Ball of Watertown MA included in Levi's family daughters Sally and Nancy, but no evidence of either of these persons has been discovered, so it has been assumed that these two daughters were in error. [end of comment]

     Samuel Ball was born on 17 April 1807 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.^2,3 He was the son of Joseph Ball and Susannah Forbes.¹ Samuel Ball married Nancy Griggs on 10 May 1837.¹ Samuel Ball married Mary Green on 17 June 1852 at Littleton, Grafton Co., NH.⁴ Samuel Ball died on 19 July 1894 at Littleton, Grafton Co., NH, at age 87.⁵ He was buried at Glenwood Cemetery, Littleton, Grafton Co., NH.⁶

     Phineas Ball was born on 23 October 1809 at Concord, Essex Co., VT; "Phineus."^2,3 He was the son of Joseph Ball and Susannah Forbes.⁴ Phineas Ball married Hope Smith, daughter of Chester Smith and Betsey Hutchins, in 1830.⁴ Phineas Ball died on 20 February 1889 at Lunenburg, Essex Co., VT, at age 79; "Phinius."³ He was buried at Lunenburg Corner Cemtery, Lunenburg, Essex Co., VT.⁵
     Comment by DGB: In his book Frank Warren included a daughter Harriet without detail. There has not been any evidence found for this daughter, so she is not currently included with this family. End of comment.

     Thankful Bowman was born on 7 November 1771 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA.² She was the daughter of James Bowman and Mary (????)³ Thankful Bowman married Levi Ball, son of John Ball and Lydia Pratt, on 29 May 1793 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA.⁴ Thankful Bowman died on 8 November 1836 at Concord, Essex Co., VT, at age 65.² She was buried at Concord Village Cemetery, Concord, Essex Co., VT.²
     As of 29 May 1793,her married name was Ball.

     Levi Ball was born on 29 October 1794 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA.^1,2 He was the son of Levi Ball and Thankful Bowman.¹ Levi Ball married Delight Chase, daughter of Archibald Chase and Susanna Peirce, on 14 August 1815.¹ Levi Ball died on 29 November 1836 at Concord, Essex Co., VT, at age 42.³ He was buried at Pike Cemetery, Concord, Essex Co., VT.³

     Nathan Ball was born on 2 August 1796 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.^1,2 He was the son of Levi Ball and Thankful Bowman.¹ Nathan Ball died on 14 February 1845 at Concord, Essex Co., VT, at age 48.³ He was buried at Pike Cemetery, Concord, Essex Co., VT.²

     Robert Ball was born on 18 May 1800 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.² He was the son of Levi Ball and Thankful Bowman.¹ Robert Ball married Polly Hyde on 25 April 1824 at Southborough, Worcester Co., MA; "Polly."³ Robert Ball died on 22 June 1855 at Dana, Worcester Co., MA, at age 55.⁴ He was buried at Quabbin Park Cemetery, Ware, Hampshire Co., MA.⁵

     James Bowman Ball was born on 3 March 1809 at Concord, Essex Co., VT.^2,3 He was the son of Levi Ball and Thankful Bowman.¹ James Bowman Ball married Abigail Vilas, daughter of Noah Vilas and Lavina Cody, on 16 May 1833.¹ James Bowman Ball died on 16 November 1890 at Concord, Essex Co., VT, at age 81.^4,3 He was buried at Concord Village Cemetery, Concord, Essex Co., VT.³

     Lavina Bowman was born circa 1787 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA.² She was the daughter of James Bowman.² Lavina Bowman married John Ball, son of John Ball and Lydia Pratt, on 22 May 1808 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA.¹ Lavina Bowman died on 13 November 1851 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA.²

     Rhoda Arvilla Palmer was born circa 1784 at Deerfield, Franklin Co., MA.^2,1 She was the daughter of Charles Palmer and Nancy Anne (????)¹ Rhoda Arvilla Palmer married James Bradley Ball, son of James Fay Ball and Abigail Starr, on 15 September 1808 at Burke, Caledonia Co., VT.³ Rhoda Arvilla Palmer died on 27 July 1846 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.^2,1 She was buried at Packer Cemetery, Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.⁴

     Phebe Smith was born circa 1795 at Foster, Providence Co., RI.^2,3 She married Perley Ball, son of James Fay Ball and Abigail Starr, on 9 June 1815 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.⁴ Phebe Smith died on 8 August 1872 at Burke, Caledonia Co., VT.⁴ She was buried at Newark Street Cemetery, Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.⁵
     As of 9 June 1815,her married name was Ball.

     Marvin White Ball was born on 17 March 1822 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.^2,1 He was the son of Perley Ball and Phebe Smith.³ Marvin White Ball married Lucinda Small, daughter of James Small and Mary (????), on 28 June 1846 at Pomfret, Windham Co., CT.⁴ Marvin White Ball died on 9 February 1899 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT, at age 76.¹ He was buried at Newark Street Cemetery, Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.⁵
     He worked in the cotton mills of Woodstock, Connecticut and Clinton, Massachusetts.³

     Albro Ball was born on 15 October 1825 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.² He was the son of Perley Ball and Phebe Smith.¹ Albro Ball died on 9 August 1915 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT, at age 89.³ He was buried at Newark Street Cemetery, Newark, Caledonia Co., VT.⁴

     Elbridge Gerry Ball was born on 27 April 1827 at Newark, Caledonia Co., VT; Comment by DGB: His age at death was 83y 2m 11d, which calculates back to a birth date of 24 Apr 1827. This compares well for the day and month to the indexed birth record of 27 Apr 1825. My suspicion is that the index card for his birth is off by 2 years, because his birth date on the 1900 census shows April 1827 and his death record supports that date; as well Elbridge was living in 1900 with brother Albro and sister Almeda and both of their birth dates on that census are correct.
