     Comment by DGB: clearly Elvira by her age was not the mother of the early children for Moses; I am guessing that the gap between children Olive and Mary is the likely time for Moses' second marriage. It is possible, based on two census records listing birth in VT and his presence in Charlotte VT in 1860 that this Moses was a younger brother to Jesse, Alvin and John Ball of Ferrisburgh VT. End of comment.

Elliott, son of Arnold Adams Elliott and Hannah Mariah Wilson, on 2 July 1871 at Maidstone, Essex Co., VT.^3,4 Lydia T. Ball and Milo A. Elliott were divorced in November 1904 at NH.⁴ Lydia T. Ball married Oscar O. Heath on 23 December 1905 at Lancaster, Coos Co., NH.⁵ Lydia T. Ball died on 23 October 1924 at age 70.² She was buried at Locust Grove Cemetery, Merrimac, Essex Co., MA.²
