     From and obituary in "The Auburn Citizen" of Auburn NY: The funeral of the late George W. Ball was held at the family residence at Oaklands - near Weedsport - Thursday, April 4 at 3 p.m; burial was made at Weedsport Rural Cemetery. He was born in Ontario, Canada, and had been a resident of Aurburn for the past 17 years. A short time ago they purchased a farm on the Oaklands thinking it would benefit his health, which has been greatly impaired for the past four years. He was a member of the Mason's Union and a charter member of the K.O.T.M. he was a man of kindly disposition and his death will be regretted by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife and seven children, Mrs. A. Barney, Mrs. E. J. Waldron, George E. Ball of this city, Torance M., Florence E., Wilford E. and Fern B. Ball of Weedsport. three grandchildren also survive.4
