     Peter Brooks was born on 21 August 1727 at Concord, Middlesex Co., MA.2 He was the son of Ebenezer Brooks and Sarah Fletcher.2 Peter Brooks married Rebecca Ball, daughter of Nathaniel Ball and Sarah Baker, on 8 January 1752 at Grafton, Worcester Co., MA.3 Peter Brooks died on 26 January 1779 at Grafton, Worcester Co., MA, at age 51; note that his gravestone shows a death date of 24 Jan 1779.4

     Comment by DGB: There is some dispute as to whether the Lois Ball that married Joseph Willoughby was this Lois or the Lois Ball b. 1732 in Holliston, MA, to Abraham Ball and Martha Bridges. End of comment.
