     Nathan Ball was born on 27 April 1737 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² He was the son of John Ball and Mary Clark.³ Nathan Ball married Ruhama Cook, daughter of Simeon Cook and Melatiah Robbins, on 15 December 1765 at Stockbridge, Berkshire Co., MA; "Ruhamah Cooke."⁴ Nathan Ball died on 29 December 1797 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA, at age 60.⁵ He was buried at Fairmount Cemetery, Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.⁶

     Elizabeth Ball was born on 22 May 1742 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of John Ball and Mary Benjamin.¹ Elizabeth Ball married Samuel Lamson, son of John Lamson and Sarah Rand, on 7 June 1759 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA.³ Elizabeth Ball died on 24 November 1785 at Weston, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 43.⁴

     Nathan Smith was born on 3 December 1742 at Weston, Middlesex Co., MA.² He was the son of Braddyll Smith and Mary (????)² Nathan Smith married Sarah Ball, daughter of John Ball and Mary Benjamin, on 21 October 1762 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA.^3,4 Nathan Smith married Sarah Reed on 22 December 1768 at Lunenburg, Worcester Co., MA.⁵
     He may have been the Capt. Nathan Smith that died 17 February 1825 at Weston, Middlesex Co., MA, and whose wife died the following day.⁶
